Ven

Name: Venn
Age: 14
Race: Human
Hair Color: Blonde
Eye Color: Blue
Height: 5’9
Weight: 175
*Occupation: Novice Hero
*Personality: Brash, Impatient, Strong willed, Stubborn, and Kind hearted. All words to describe the finer points of Ven’s personality. Though what he lacks in his good nature he has gained in experience- he acts completely independent of those around him with his own personal way of getting things completed, and stresses his individuality. Hardly one to hesitate in doing what is right; he sticks to his guns whether he is facing off one on one, or against a group. Genuinely, when he isn’t getting himself into his own troubles he is well behaved and well mannered though he was never one to hold his tongue, or beat around the bush. Interacting well with people considering his present situation of having no one to depend on but himself, he thinks he shows his own personal potential to be one of this world’s greatest heroes.
Appearance:
One of the more noticeable features in Ven’s physique would be his dirty sunflower blonde hair, which would promptly lead to the notice of his deep blue eyes. His eyes holding the flare of experience for one so young, which is to say he isn’t to be taken lightly. The youthful face sculpted and touched around the edges with a joyous glow of contentment, and attractiveness to those of his age range. The slender musculature that makes up his build, is emphasized due to his baggy clothes which are dotted with a myriad of mismatched patches, dirt smudges, and smears of blood that have been caked onto the fabric which have started to flake off in the recent months.
The patch work clothing consisted of rags that were shambled together in attempts to make partially decent clothing are, a baggy long sleeve shirt whose sleeves extend far past his hands, which is covered by a shirt with much shorter sleeves dropping just past the elbows, and tucked into a part of over-sized trousers that are tucked into a pair of well worn boots that look like they have been pushed well past their expiration date.
At his side, is a wooden sword, which has been crafted with careful knife strokes which can be attributed to his skills in witling. The handle, hand guard, and blade have been carefully pruned free of loose bits of wood that would make the weapon look any worse. Hardly the flimsy weapon, the sword has sustained much abuse through the course of its making.
History:
Ven as a child was readily abandoned by his parents, there were no accidents that lead to his choice in profession, nor where their any dramatic, or traumatic life changing experiences. No signs, save a personal realization, no inklings, no special abilities (Such as amazing strength.), but rather it just fell onto him. On the contrary he is quite the average boy, he lived an average life, after being left by his parents at the door step of the Promenade and he was taken in by a rather average family.
Growing up in the home of Greta and Costanzia, Ven was admired as one of their most interesting catch proving to be more than a handful when it came to being taken care of. He cried a lot as an infant more so than normal children, but he also laughed a lot a bundle of emotional indecision. But as time tarried on, and as the boy grew bigger he stopped crying, and began to laugh a bit more. He was always ready to do work around the house, and or help out his “Parents” considering he didn’t know the truth about his abandonment (but honestly who would break a child’s heart like that?) so he was quite content calling Greta and Costanzia mother and father. Greta worked as the resident chef, and “mother” to the many people of their small town, while Costanzia was a musician, and a hearty farmer.
They were happy people, and their happiness was conveyed personified through their son Ven. Now, as each story goes there is a point in a persons life where they must choose their path, and Ven’s was shoved upon him in a rather unusual way through witling. As he worked with his talents for the knife, he began to carve a myriad of things, from horses, to trees, even people, and eventually he crafted his sword. And I suppose, that is how this story begins.
