What's Your Favorite Region to Write In?

The subject says it best: What is your favorite region on Althanas to write in?

Also, if you answer the poll, don't walk away! I'd really appreciate it if you could post as well. I'm most interested in why you guys like the regions that you do.

It's just the easiest to play in and thanks to Akashima the one that most suits my character, also Akashima is the only one to even mention the existence of Furries.

I love Salvar, and have three characters specifically from there. I've always loved salvar, probably because of the general atmosphere. I think it would be a little better if it was a little more drawn out, with more history and the like... but it's my favorite so far.

I particularly like Salvar, perhaps because of the numerous activities that have been attempted there. Ashiakin's player owned fiefdoms were genius, but nobody really took him up on it. I still expect a return of the church and store factions, though it seems to have stalled. That's why it's my favorite region, though I don't get to roleplay there very much. Hadia/Deathain comes in a close second though, but I want more info on the draconian's black druidic magic.

This kid thinks like me, I'd like to see the Salvar stuff back... only because I wanted to do something with it eventually.

I also LOOOOVE the idea behind Hadia/Deathain and hope that it sparks up some stuff soon enough.

Perhaps "country run" tournaments or competitions or something, anything to get a little more action in the regions without having to have a civil war/regional war. It could even be a rather peaceful, quasi-tournament... like a thing between Alerar and Salvar, since they are at peace, to bolster relations. Or perhaps another Adventurers Cup, but run by a single continent in order to achieve some agenda? I don't know, but you wanted input and why people like certain places/possibly how to make others a little better.

More IC integration/interaction would work best. And not just fighting...

Woo, Salvar, Thalassos is made for Salvar and Futsuriai will establish himself mostly in Salvar (with Raiaera coming in second). I like the history and the general... promise of a land so scarred by the Tap wars which is something I will be exploring in my writing.

Mine was Other Regions, mostly cause my favorite isn't up there. Scara Brae ftw, ya'll!!

But out of the ones up there, good old elfy-land(a.k.a. Raiaera) would be my favorite.

I've only been to Fallien (current) and Scara Brae. I chose Corrone though because I plan on doing a lot of writing in there just because of my smithy and all that othe good stuff.

Concordia, but I'm horribly biased since I've been around there since the mindless, and know it just about inside and out. I just love the idea of the Magic Forest as a whole. I blame the Hobbit.

However, my favorite (none self made) nation as a whole is Salvar. Granted I haven't done much there, I've always just loved the cold and it reminds me the most of Boston for some strange reason. That, and it just seems the best overall. I just love how it's set up. You could have your own mini country uprisel, and still not be in other regions due to fiefdoms. There's oodles or crap to do in the snow, and Leon does have white fur for a reason.

Raieara and Alerar are alright, but I could only really write there if the story told me to, and I'm generally just turned off by them. I like them both as a whole, I'm just not a fan of Elves.

Corone is alright, but I like Concordia more then the rest of it put together. No offense, but the rest isn't THAT good.

Scara Brae rocks, but I can't touch it often enough to to higher level. And really it's alright for only a shorter while. After the allure is gone, the allure is GONE.

Hadia/hard to spell name seems good, but I don't have much story reason to get there yet. I want to write there before I make assumptions. Granted, what I have read is pretty awesome.

I cannot tell you how sad I am that Raiaera has no votes at all. It used to win these things.

Out of curiosity, Rith, why did you choose to write in Corone?

The mountains I (hope) to do a lot of exploring in and developing new weapons and maybe a new mid-grade metal or something seeing as the island has a rather large mountain range. I have access to a few large cities and much rather prefer the wilderness and mountains to desert and swamp. I guess it just seems to fit better with what I planned on doing with my character (aside from what I'm doing now).

I prefer Other regions because I don't know all the maps and terrains yet so making a map based by me making it much easier for me to place out my stories.

I'm a big fan on Radasanth and the forest area around Corone. Maybe cuz that's where I first started out.
