Thats right the blind vampire, Tarry Whealer is now dead and his stuff is up for grabs. For a list of what that stuff is, simply click the word "Pain" in my sig and that will take you to my last profile update which containes a list of all the items my character had at the time he died. How you go about getting them is completely up to you. To claim something simply post here or contact me via PM/AIM. I will be more than happy to anwser any questions you may have.
Claimed Items
Twin Daggers
Chest Plate
Big ass sword
Book of the Vampires (or what ever the hell I called it).
Special bandanna
Cloths (including jacket)
Corpse
Matches
Those two can be claimed or are already?
If not, I'll head for the plate? If so, oh well.

I would like the sword please.
If it would be alright, that book would be awesome to have methinks.

Those items listed are already claimed, sorry but Izzy got them (the chest plate and the daggers) first since he was actually the guy who killed Tarry.
Also, Komo, sorry to say but Corvus PMed me requesting the blade before you posted therefore he gets the claim.
Also Maia, that book is all yours.
No sweat. I was just curious, because I thought those were "up for claim".

Just a quick note regarding the book, I should probably mention that its written in Ancient Vampiric, so in order for Maia to read the book, she will either have to have it translated or learn the language.
Eh. That won't really be that much of a problem. I kinda figured it wouldn't be in a common language as it is. Still, picking up the crap is the real problem. Eh, I'll figure that out later. Just, kinda, the thought of picking up a book off of a dead body isn't that appealing right now.

Well was thinking of having Cor find the sword in the posession of some bandit that got it off a merchant, that bought it from a thief, who pried it out a fishermans body, who had discovered the blade resting in a rice field, dropped previously by a swordsman of intense reknown who had lost a duel against his fated opponent thanks to the new sword, which he had gotton and so on heh. Just because we get the item dosen't mean we were first to pick it from his corpse.

The bandana sounds nice, would it be alright if Lillian got her hands on it through some convoluted means? It'd be really awesome!

Hmm, if its not too late I would like the bandana. Items with special qualities are always good.
I know, simply expressig my concern about that. Nevertheless, if anyone wants Maia to tag along to help pillage Tarry's belongings, she can join. Not that it wouldn't be hard for her to find her book. Could just do a bazaar thread and get the girl some damn pants or something and pick the book up as a whim.

In order to preserve a woman for skirted fashions I would volunteer me fuzzy services for a little snatch and grab quest.

Corvus hit the nail on the head with that statement because it is exactly that logic that I kind of want people to follow when taking my shit. Besides it makes for a better quest than simply stumbling onto area where my character died and finding one of his items near his corpse.
Also since Ataraxis asked first, she gets the bandanna.
*Checks that she's asking under the right account*
Can I have the gloves?
Even though they're probably a wee bit big for her hands...but still.
And knowing Karu...she'll grab them somehow and not even know the story behind them. Yay for characters that don't know their Althanas history.

Thats kinda funny. She beat me by like a few minutes. Oh well. Doesn't seem your character has much in the way of possessions.
grim137
05-03-07, 06:35 PM
Yeah, that bandanna was the last truely interesting thing my character really had, though I'm still waiting to see if Cory will claim my character's pants.
Anyways, the gloves are Karu's.
I was half considering going for Tarry's leftover spirit, but decided against it simply out of respect for the dead. ((pun))
Corvus, that would be good too. If you could make it it would be better. Also, probably one of the greatest reasons I have ever heard for a quest.

That and I wouldn't let you do it since he's going to come back to life in his level 5 update.
Thanks, grim!
I'll pick them up...as soon as I find some nifty way to go about getting them. And figure how they're going to get into Karu's vicinity...little logistical things like that.

Well this is awesome, thanks Grim! Though I'm sorry I stole it from under you, Ingenious. >.>
Oh, and does it have to be worn on the head for it to work? I mean, logically yes, but could it perhaps function even when tied around a knot of hair, or used as a scarf?

You know, I never thought of that since my guy always wore it on his head anyways, so I'll give you the benifit of the doubt and say no it doesn't have to be worn on the head and yes it will give you the benifit if worn as a scarf or whatever.

Oh, what the hell.
I want Tarry's pants. And whatever's in them.
Especially gold.
grim137
05-03-07, 07:47 PM
I guess there's nothing gotheir than pants from a dead vampire, espescially pants that are torn and stained with blood, ash, dirt and god knows what else. Though I really expected you to go for the leather coat. Anyways there yours.

05-03-07, 07:49 PM
Wait, can I have the jacket too?
Hell, give me all your undergarments as well. I'm a freak like that.
Can I keep the body?
grim137
05-03-07, 07:54 PM
Yeah you can have the jacket to, and normally there's a limit to two objects per person, though I doubt anybody will want my cloths, so you can have them all if you want (except the gloves).
Also go read the final post in Aftermath since talks about how my character dies and should give you an idea of everything the cloths are stained with.
Actually, it occurs to me...I can't cast blood-spells with gloves on.
So I'd like to unclaim the gloves.
Can I kick him in the head? That'd be cool...
Hey, whoever has the vampire's body. Osato want's go give 'em a good boot in the face for old times sake...
grim137
05-03-07, 09:00 PM
Well it was Cory who claimed the body and I'm pretty sure he was joking so, Osato, if you want it I could probably let you have it.
Edit: Never mind, he wasn't joking, apparently he plans to use the skeleton as a freaky sex doll. Also the gloves have been unclaimed if anybody wants them.
I'm starting to have second thoughts about how screwy some of you are here :p. Yay for internet!
Seraphima
05-03-07, 09:20 PM
If you'd rather a cremation for the skeleton than umm...the alternative, I could send Karu to kick Cory's new character in the head...
grim137
05-03-07, 09:52 PM
Personaly I would rather anything happen to the skeleton rather than Cory's alternative. So if anybody wants to kick his head in and do something different with the skeleton by all means go ahead, you have my full support.
All right then.
Cory, it's ON. Especially since Karu is of the school of thought that remains should be treated respectfully...no matter whose they are.
I'm not doing a thread with you.
Alright. Have fun. I'm just not going to do a thread with you over a corpse.

Pff, he was bothersome. Him and his neck-ki-blast things.
But his daggers are neat. Hopefully the spoil I requested is given. I should also get enough EXP to level from that thread, so the timing's perfect.
So Izvilvin has Tarry's daggers and Kedx's as well. He's starting a collection... Hmm.
He was bothersome, which is why the thread title's gonna be "A Decent Funeral for an Unrepentant Sinner."
Or something of the sort.

Now go for Seth Dahlios. He has enough daggers, methinks.

That is a marvellous idea! And what a fight that'd be, with Izvilvin resisting Seth's crazy spellz.
But I fear I am too late :(

Now that this thread is setteled, all I have to do is wait for the Minister of Justice's murder to become offical, which probably won't happen untill after the thread is judged.

Jesus. I've had a long run in with Tarry through the Storm character, but wasn't around yesterday for much.
Is there -anything- Storm could have as a memento? Could be useless, but some totem that could remind him of his old nemesis.
Gloves are still up for grabs, I think, since I unclaimed them.
grim137
05-04-07, 02:37 PM
Yeah, the gloves and the matches, and I could probably take away the coat from Cory and just give him the rest of the cloths and the gold.

And I can always kill new Tarry and take his new stuff.

I think the matches would be fine. Just a small, simple totem.

I don't think so aside from the eflin leather gloves.
