Physical Description: Mathias stands at about 6’ft’4in and weighs 200lbs he keeps himself at a fine toned shape. His skin is a light tan and his beard is scruffy and looks more like 5’o clock shadow. His eyes are a plain Hazel color and his hair is brown and short but most of the time looks messy when he takes his helmet off.

Personality: Mathias is one of the most adaptable, flexible, and ambitious person you could meet. His love for gods has led him to the path of a cleric he loves his job and treats it with much honor. Mathias is a usually a happy man and is generous but when it comes down to fighting a corrupted soul he uses the power of the gods to smite them.
Armor: Mathias wears full plate steel armor and a white sash along with a red cape and steel shield

History: Mathias thinks the handiwork of the Gods is everywhere in places of natural beauty, in mighty crusades, in soaring temples, and in the hearts of worshipers like himself. Ideally Mathias’s adventures support his God’s (god of the sun) causes, at least in a general way. If through noble acts Mathias can improve his reputation his God or his temple even better.
Mathias joined a church (church of light) while he was a young adult and strived through the hardships of all the different cultures. He makes it through helping the poor and weak and doing what the church and his God ask of. Mathias is tightly bound to his church and does daily activates of the church.
Within his church there have been many revolts and open warfare against religion this were usually upheavals of politicking between opposing churches is common. One of these religious wars was Mathias’s first step into warfare in this small war Mathias was nervous but the other cleric on his side told him that the God’s willed it for them to fight or they would not do it. Mathias first step into war would not be his last and fought mercilessly for his God and killed 3 three opposing clerics this was his first time killing and shaken up by it looked towards his God and fell to his need and then prayed when the battle was over.
Mathias continues working for his church and had been working for it for over 17 years and had been in more religious wars over time. Mathias has now been assigned as the churches main cleric and travels the world of Athlanas spreading his God’s name and fame of his church across the land.
