Just finished a commission for a friend. I hate it, but let me know what you think/tell me what I need to work on.

Missing some shadow on the other side of her legs I'd say, to make it look like she's really sitting on the mushroom, she's kinda floating it seems.

Her finger gets cut off on the left side too. Overall I think it's well done, is it for anything in particular? Art always seems better when it's applied elsewhere. :o

EDIT: Is this digital art? Like photoshop? I think it is, it has that 'look.'

That mushroom looks high too, kinda like a slide for the pixie. Just sort of an idle thing I saw. Maybe a little lower and more 'mushroomy' (?) would work a little better. And that was basically just me trying to add something to help you. Still good work nonetheless.

Thanks for the comments and critiques. I'm really bad with coloring and shadows and such. I did do this via Photoshop since my ability to color is actually much better with all the cheap tricks it can do. Next piece I color I'll try to keep in mind what you all suggessted. And for the record: I HATE PIXIES! D:<

Hey, all you have to do is take a mid-tone grey, set the opacity of the brush to around 15-20% and mess around with the shadows a bit. ;)

Anyway, this is the second panel in a 20ish panel OC battle. It's her character CJ vs Isabelle. Her character is a firearms wielder. Mines and alchemical mage. I'd put her in the same category as Althanas's own geomancer -- Cyrus the Virus. The biggest difference is she can't cast anything or talk to the elements without her alchemy flask. (Or so the story permits thus far! =D)

Anyway once I complete the whole thing I'll upload it here. I'll have bits and pieces of teasers here and there.

So I was bored at work today and only have access to a pen and notebook. Therefore, here is a quick sketch of Noir. I plan on doing something more refined, but I think the over the shoulder allure will work for her. I'll do something with more body in it later. I seem to be having a hard time with her attire. I have an idea of what I want, but I've never drawn something so elaborate. Lace, sheer, gems, accentuating cuts along the curves, etc. I need to draw Lye eventually but I think I'm liking these bust shots. I need to draw more!

Here's the more refined version of Noir. I am going to scan it tonight and work more details into it. In the full version, her breasts are a little too low for the angle so I will need to move those up. Overall, I think I did alright. The hair style is nothing like her icon, but for some reason, I want the full luscious look. Artistic license for the win!

I'm happy with the current one for Mord, and switching to Luned's when she's in her summer form.

What style do you prefer? I can match character to suitability, and would very happily make this a commission if appropriate? (I am thinking I need one for Ozoric, Tantalus, and/or Lillith).

Phi, I have a few commissions I need to crank out, but I'll keep you in mind. I always had a thing for drawing half-human hybrids, so you can count on a drawing. I may have to change up the dread locks though. For some reason or another it doesn't quite jive in my mind. Maybe just some messy, but flowy hair that looks similar to dreads? I want to make sure Phi still gets that sex appeal.

You have enough reference photo's for me to pull off so it shouldn't be too difficult.
