New Rule Regarding Starting Character GP

I am pleased to announce a new modification to the Althanas Rules. From now on, every new character will begin with 200 GP instead of 100 GP, but will also receive 300 GP of Bazaar credit to use towards purchasing supplies (beyond those already approved in the profile). This credit, which will appear in parentheses next to the player's Gold Pieces, will expire a month after registration, so new characters are encouraged to use it as quickly as possible.

For those wondering, this is only the first of several steps being taken to increase the amount of gold awarded to players on Althanas.

Wow this reminds me of that one phone commercial...let me see if I can't youtube it...hahah.

Well I can't seem to find it, but the gist of it was, these little kids were painting in class, a new kid comes and he gets the new awesome paintset, while theirs is total crap. And the teacher says, "He gets the new deluxe paint set!....Because he's new. So he's special." And all the other little kids are sad and angry.

Oh wellz, maybe this will drum up more activity.

That's a good point you bring up, Sword. However, rest assure that GP will be easier to obtain now than before.

Yes, GP will be much easier for advanced players to obtain then it was before due to some other changes which we're not making public just yet.

Also, the new PG Rules will be a major way outside of normal battles and quests to obtain GP -
