As promised, starting today there are new rules governing GP rewards in battles. Winning a battle will result in a much larger gain of GP then it did before - the flat rate for a victory will be 500 GP for every 5 levels of your opponent.
This flat rate will be modified by two factors:
Your score for the thread: The flat rate will be modified based on the winner's score. This modifier will follow the same chart used for Battle EXP.
How quickly you reply to your opponent's posts: The quicker you reply to your opponent's posts, the more GP your character will earn, regardless of the outcome of the battle. The modifiers are:
Average reply takes 24 hours+: No modifier
Average reply takes 18-24 hours: + 5% GP
Average reply takes 12-18 hours: + 10% GP
Average reply takes 6-12 hours: + 20% GP
Average reply takes 6 hours or less: + 30% GP
The loser of a thread will receive GP equivalent to a 1/4 of the winner's prize.
These new guidelines will, we hope, result in players earning more GP then ever before and in players being able to purchase more and better items for their characters in The Bazaar.
