Re-incarnation: Canen Darkflight to Bannon Basillisk

Just a quick notice to say that this thread is going to be used to re-incarnate Canen Darkflight into my new character, Bannon Basillisk. I am halfway through preparing the character profile and will follow up this post shortly with the said material.

Name: Bane Flaresto a.k.a Bannon Basillisk

Age: Although the exact age is unknown by anyone of this era, there have been reports that Bannon had been sighted, looking exactly as he does today, over 300 years ago on an island a hundred miles southwest of Corone. However, this may merely be speculation and is still unfounded today. His appearance suggests mid twenties.

Race: Bane Flaresto is believed to be the foremost prototype for a biological weapons project named "Basillisk". This involves melding the genes of a human, or indeed the physical cells of a human, with the power of a single element via unknown magicks. Only a man we know as Ouroboros, the alleged "creator" of the Basillisks, knows exactly which processes are involved, but in the absence of fact we believe that Bannon was exposed to the element of fire due to his skills with the element.

Class: Bannon Basillisk is aligned with hand to hand fighting and magic.

Alignment: Enigmatic at best. No one is sure what Bannon's mission or aim is, and no one is sure of his purposes.

Description: Bannon Basillisk is reported to be a white, middle twenties young male standing at roughly five foot eleven inches tall, with long spiked brown hair with black tips that hang over in bangs across his face. Bannon has been seen in the standard dress of what we believe to be Basillisk clothing, i.e cream cargo pants, a black denim sleeveless jacket complete with white trimming and a black and white two tone leather "sweatband" that is clamped firmly onto the forehead of the subject with strong steel clamps.

Marks of interest are particularly a tattoo on his left should in the shape of a Chimera, and his gold irises.

Weapon: Baneblade Alpha

Bannon has been seen carrying an odd weapon, known only as the Baneblade. This strange sword is a metre in length, ten inches across and curved instead of pointed at the tip. Despite this apparant bluntness, the edges of the sword are not designed to cut, but rather to cause damage by impact alone. As far as we know, the sword is crafted from a heat sensitive metal comparible to steel.

Another fact of note is that this sword allows energy at high temperatures to conduct through it and gather at the oval tip. This furthers our original theory that Bannon was created as the Basillisk of Fire and may use this weapon to channel his magic.

Magic: Cannon Flame

According to reports made by offshore officials, Bannon has been seen using a technique called the Cannon Flame to dispatch opponents. It involves using the Baneblade to channel magical power from the hands of the Basillisk to the tip of the weapon, which is then used as a projectile launcher and discharges a wave of flame at a target. However, this attack seems only to be effective at distances, the projectile's shape a curved shockwave travelling in a straight path of ten metres before dispersing.

Skill: Basillisk Elemental Resistance

It is known that Bannon is partially immune to the effects of fire, which serves to further imply that he is indeed the Basillisk of Fire and as such, from now on, should be treated as such. To this degree, fire damage does not cause as much harm to him as other elemental properties.

Personality: Reports on this subject are interesting. It appears that Bannon refuses to talk to anybody in a social environment apart from one person, the man known as Kefziel. Interestingly enough, Bannon is unaware that he is confiding in the Basillisk of Night in speaking to Kefziel, but we asusme this is because Kefziel does not wish him to know. Mostly, Bannon appears to have a burning desire to kill other Basillisks for reasons we cannot understand and appears to want to hunt Ouroboros, either for information or simply a motive on death.

One thing we have noticed is that Bannon cannot remove his headband. This is due to the genetic makeup of a Basillisk,, the headband being a suppressor of instincts beyond human control. Without this headband, we assume Bannon would lose himself entirely.

Background:

Information on this subject is hard to come by, but here is what we do know.

Three hundred years ago, a man of the same appearance and attributes as Bane Flaresto, a.k.a Bannon Basillisk, was spotted escaping from a remote island a hundred miles off the Corone coastline. Official records deny that there were any residents on the island at that time, but off the record we do know that a faceless presence known only as Ouroboros was using a hidden stronghold, whether it be a fotress or some other sort of fortification, to dabble in the early days of the Basillisk project. We have reason to suspect that Bannon may be the first prototype of the project.

The Basillisks that were produced have never been captured, but on occasions have been blamed for a number of high profile deaths or political incidents that have created instability in varying government bodies. It is thought that Ouroboros is indeed creating Basillisks to create panic and confusion in certain government bodies, although there appears to be no pattern or method in the order of problems. However, what we do not know is exactly what he intends to do in the aftermath of his success, if his goal is destablisation.

Bannon was, until recently, a dead in the water subject for us until he was spotted on Corone shores earlier in the month, and as a matter of urgency we have reopened casebooks on the subject. We need, as a priority, further information on existing Basillisks and the current whereabouts of these figureheads of terror before further incident can occur.

As such, capture is an absolute priority.

So, just to clarify. You want to reincarnate this new character on an old account? Usually people make a separate account for the new character, but if you want it on this one, I see no problems.

Also, reincarnation will yield you 3175 EXP which is level one. I'm rather reluctant to give complete immunity to fire at level one. Make it a partial immunity for now, so that the effect of fire attacks is lessened to some degree.
