Name: Gonsus Pureheart

Personality: Gonsus is a kind, gentle man with all intentions for justice and religion. He is often found to be spreading the word of his God to people simply passing him in the street. He is openhearted to all creatures and beings, except for thieves and murderers, particularily thieves. He believes that any and everything belongs to his God, so taking it deserves only one thing, death. He is a very outspoken man with a loud voice, though he only uses it for good.

Appearance: Gonsus is very tall, and very muscular with a small gut. He is a black man with piercings covering his ears. He is clad in a white robe, with Iron Bracers and leather knee wraps, with wooden sandals. He has a huge chest with very, very large calves, and pretty big arms. He is naturally intimidating, but if he smiles most find him very inviting and welcoming.

History: Gonsus was born in Corone which is also where he spent the vast majority of his life. His father, his father's father, and so on were all high priests to their God Stlelfethon(pronounced Steelfethin). Though he is as a high believer as his ancestors, he spreads the word of his deity to other nearby provinces instead of simply preaching in the temple founded by his great, great grandfather. His family is very wealthy, but because of his wandering lifestyle Gonsus is a fairly poor man. He was trained in his axe fighting by his father, who died from severe head trauma.

Weapons and Armor: Gonsus carries a large battleaxe that has an elaborate emblem of his God on the opposite side that he fights with. As far as armor he only wears Iron bracers.

Deity: Gonsus Pureheart is a strong worshipper and believer of Stlelfethon, the God of spite. Stlelfethon represents action for pride, no matter what the consequence, though it is mostly justice. Gonsus believes that stealing or murdering means taking from his God who he would die for, therefore he takes punishing actions to anybody committing these things immedietely. The emblem of Stlelfethon is a perfect circle with an S running vertically through, with a small p and i inside the first curve of the S, then a small t and e in the second, which stands for spite.

Skills:
Keen thinking-In dire and harsh situations, Gonsus is known to be able to find the easiest way out or through.

Exorcism-Gonsus Pureheart can inflict moderate damage to all undead, ghosts, and demons by throwing glistening balls of light at his target. The balls of light are simply a projectile of the light, and he conjures above average skill with these attacks. [Damage against PCs is determined by the character]

Heavy Battleaxe-Though his axe is very heavy, Gonsus' strength makes up for it enough so he can use it about as quickly as one would a smaller club or axe. His skill is about average.

Cool, an Evangelist! I haven't seen one of those before, not around these parts.

Anyway, onto the approvals process.

Under exorcism, can you define what the balls of light do?

And you can have average skill in Exorcism and above average with your axe, or above average skill in Exorcism and average skill with your axe.

Edit that for me, and post here to let me know you've made the changes!

Okay, since it's only against undead types, I'll assume your light spell is a sort of holy energy.

Change it to moderate damage, and you don't have to put a limit on how many times you can cast it. So long as you don't powergame it, it'll all be cool. And a little tag saying that damage against PCs is determined by them.

Post here after that and let me know you've made the changes, and you'll be approved! (and you don't need to PM me, I'll see the post really fast)

I can't know that you've edited if you don't post here saying that you have, silly!

Anyway, you are Approved!

We have two optional forums for new players, Scara Brae and the Peaceful Promenade, but personally, I recommend going to the Bazaar and spending your three hundred line of credit that expires in a month.
