Returning Member...seems I didn't make the character purge, so I'm re-registering.
Name: Arai Kaosu
Race: Half Demon/Half Human
Age: 18
Height: 5’ 10
Weight: 180
Appearance: Slender, brown-skinned male. Has silver hair at shoulder length, and his eyes are black when not in battle, red when he is. He wears black sweatpants, and a fitted black t-shirt. Over the shirt is a red trench coat that goes a little below his waist, the Japanese kanji “Chaos” is sketched on the back. Around his waist is a red cloth, which hangs down on his side. He is fairly attractive, but not enough to be considered a "pretty-boy".
Items: Chaos Blades, which are two steel short swords that are sheathed into
holders on his back, which is concealed under his coat. Around his wrists
he wears two red bands that conceal two throwing knives each.
Skills: Being half demon, Arai has superb agility and acrobatic skill, but his human body limits how much he can do.
He is trained in various martial arts, but is more skilled with blades; preferably his two short swords. He isn't as adept in his demonic magic as he is with his swordsmanship as he is failry new to chanelling energy.
Flame Sphere. An orb-like shape of dark demonic flame about the size of an adult human head. The sphere can follow its target for a little while, then dissapates. He can only create three at full power before his reaches his limit.
Energy Channel: Focusing his power into her his blades, he can infuse them with the flame element for a short period of time.
Personality: Shy (mostly around girls), kind, patient, easy to get along
with, and quiet. He is quite aware of his skills but doesn't think too overly high of himself.
History: Abandoned as a child, Arai is the son of a human and a demon.
Not knowing who he is, or who his birth parents actually are, he was raised
by a caring old couple that found him crying in a ditch. He first started
realizing he wasn’t human when he saw that whenever he got hurt, his wounds could be seen healing. After his caretakers also revealed to him that when he got mad, his eyes turned red, he left, to find out who, or what he was. After being in the outside world on his own for three years, a chance
encounter with another demon told him all he needed to know. His mother,
who was a demon, fell in love with a man from a village she had set out
to destroy. After becoming impregnated with Arai, she felt guilty, and
believed that the other demons would reject her if they found that she was
to give birth to a baby seeded by a human.
Therefore she left him on earth, and this demon was told to find Arai and
ask him to return to his mother. Arai refused saying, “If she didn’t want
me before, there’s no reason for me to go back to her, after leaving me
alone.” The demon, knowing he’d be killed if he didn’t return with Arai,
dead or alive, that he’d be killed. So he attacked Arai, but Arai, who’d
been training the last 3 years, killed him as if he were nothing. He only
received a small scratch on his cheek, which healed into a permanent scar.
He sees it as a reminder as his first kill towards ridding the world of all he considers evil.
