The Acheron is a river located in the Epirus region of northwest Greece. Acheron translates as the "river of woe" and it was believed to be a branch of the underworld river Styx over which in ancient Greek mythology Charon ferried the newly dead souls across into Hades.

At night I heard the owls say :
"Find the truth beneath the stars
You'll have to travel back to heaths of green...

...The entrance to the oak woods will be revealed to you
A king will tell you to ride until..."

[Bridge:]
... the leaves on the trees from black colour turn to green
There to find the oak woods I seek, where the old oaks
still speak

At night I heard the old king say:
"To find your journey through the dark
You'll have to travel on a field of green"

Through time dark landscapes leave their place to
grasslands of joy
Bestowed to ancient oak woods here I ...

[Bridge2:]
... stand astonished by green, light of power covers me
To understand the nature of man I have now to speak with
the trees.

In my life I always prayed the ancients acting with pure honesty
This is time to face the truth so here I go

Running through the woods I question every plant and every tree
Searching for the answer that was promised to me
Then the full moon comes out and the wind whispers in my
ear :
"Ask for White Willow near the Silver Lake"...

[Chorus:]
-The fire in my heart was burning like the flames of
ancient times
White Willow with his knowledge opened up my eyes
-The vision of the world I had before was based on
thousand lies
White Willow taught me how to live my life with truth

And there it stands the only White Willow tree
He embraced me and he told me to gaze at the stars!

The wise old tree twice spoke to me and he said :
"Bring truth to the ones that you trust
And make them believe that I still exist"
So he closed his eyes and I traveled back home

Back to my world, home I return :
And the birds cry out "The old king has died"
With tears in my eyes I follow my heritage :
Now I am to be new Elvenking!

[Chorus2:]
-Green power light was flowing down my eyes like

waters from the falls
White Willow filled my heart with lore I now recall (lore I now recall!)
-The black horizons once I saw now turn to white as I pass by
And now I know why man can't bear to know the nature of the truth

[End:]
[Narrator:] and there it stands, the only white willow tree
with golden leaves and a sweet old voice
He embraced me, hard as rock
and he told me, gaze at the stars

We can deluge you with a thousand channels or expand one single image to crystal clarity - and beyond. We can shape your vision to anything our imagination can conceive. For the next hour we will control all that you see and hear. You are about to experience the awe and mystery which reaches from the deepest inner mind to... The Outer Limits. Please stand by."

A third party program is any file or program that is not a part of the World of Warcraft software, but is used to gain an advantage in the game, such as increasing your movement speed or teleporting from one place to another beyond what is allowed by game design. It also includes any programs that obtain information from the game that is not normally available to the regular player or that transmit or modify any of the game files. Normally, this classification does not include UI modifications, except those UIs that require an external application to function.

Any external applications that are used in conjunction with World of Warcraft can cause quite a few unwanted side effects. Some of the major possible results of the use of third party programs can be instability of the game to the point that a player "crashes" from the game quite often. External programs can also be used to transmit viruses, spyware, and other unwanted programs into a player's computer. Third party programs can also be used to obtain information from the player's computer, such as account, password, and personal information.

so I was arguing on the WoW forums....like shooting fish in a barrel...

You are driving in a car at a constant speed. On your left side is a 'drop off' (yhe ground is 18-20 inches below the road you are traveling on), and on your right side is a fire engine traveling at the exact same speed as you. In front of you is a galloping horse, equal in size and speed to your car, which you cannot seem to overtake. Behind you is a galloping zebra, also of equal size and speed. What must you do to safely get out of this highly dangerous situation?

Kially Gaith
08-14-07, 01:39 AM
Kially sat contently, eating his meal as he listened to the pitter patter of heavy rain upon the barns oak roof, the sound, the child found, was very comforting, and in his settlement, he decided best to show his gratitude, whispering such into the air, assured in that he believed his mother would hear it. “…Than-koo.”

The weather seemingly responded, the water fighting itself down, hitting the barn roof harder than it had before, making a stronger and more presidential sound than before, a sign of mother natures unpredictability. Kially revelled in the noise, listening intently as mouthful after mouthful of his free provisions were ate. Chicken, he decided, was good stuff indeed, and the temperature also, was something he were pleased to learn about.

Like all good meals, the chunky chicken pieces in gravy, came to an end, placing the lid back on, the bowl sealed itself tightly with its’ own enchantment, placed carefully back into the bag along with the spoon…Which of course had been licked clean with an eager tongue, taking every last morsel from the spoon, which still retained some of the heat from his meal.

“Ahhh…” He sighed in relief, he was now a good distance away from the populace of Corone, felt good to have naught but peace and the comforting rain on his side.

Lifting the lid from the cup, he revealed a batch of cool fresh water. Taking idle sips, the child took a moment back to realise the bliss he currently held. A full mouth of water took the thirsty edge his body had held and Kially sat himself back, breathing in a long breath as his body finally relaxed after a good meal.

Finishing the cup of water off, the lid, for this too, was put back in place, vacuum sealing itself safely with its’ own enchantment before Kially slid it back into his little bag. Placing the bag down behind himself, he lay back, propping his head on the bag, using it as a lesser make shift pillow, it wasn’t as uncomfortable as he’d expected, the rounded lid of the bowl proving to be shapely enough not to hurt, adding interlapping palms to the equation made the position all the more settling, it were not long before the child slid into a little nap.

EDIT: Interesting to say the least.

Richard D. ''Packy" Packenham was a fun-loving lawyer who practiced family law in Boston and was a familiar figure in probate courts throughout the state. He also was a familiar figure at Grateful Dead concerts and usually wore a stuffed bear tied to his shoulder at the shows.

''Everybody knew 'Packy,' " his law partner Phyllis Federico said yesterday. ''He had the best sense of humor, the greatest mind, and the biggest heart of anybody I ever met."
Mr. Packenham, 52, of Walpole died of a brain hemorrhage Monday Oct. 3 in Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. He had been paralyzed since a swimming accident Aug.18, when he was struck by a wave while swimming at Cahoon Hollow Beach in Wellfleet.
Mr. Packenham was born in Newton. He graduated from Harvard College in 1975 and Boston College Law School in 1978.
In the 25th anniversary report of his class at Harvard, he described himself as ''the last of the bleeding heart liberals" and shared what may have been his philosophy on life: ''Yesterday's history; tomorrow's a mystery; let's work on today. Have fun!"
Mr. Packenham was a staff attorney at the Superior Court of the State of Connecticut before joining the Boston law firm of McGrath & Kane in 1979.
In 1994, he joined Federico and Mary Schmidt to form the firm of Packenham, Schmidt and Federico, which specializes in family law, domestic relations litigation, and probate law.
''Packy loved law as much as he loved life, and he loved life to the fullest, " said Federico.
Federico said Mr. Packenham was an advocate of continuing legal education who conducted ''Latest in the Law" seminars for the Massachusetts Bar Association throughout the state.
''He had a joy of teaching that was contagious," she said. ''He was so humorous and smart that he could entertain and educate at the same time."
Boston lawyer George Morrissey said Mr. Packenham attended dozens of Grateful Dead concerts all over the country.
''He was the one who would call you on a Friday night and say, 'The Dead are playing tomorrow night in Madison Square Garden. Let's go.' "
Charles Manning of Hull attended many concerts with Mr. Packenham.
''No matter what he did in law, sports, or just going out to eat, he brought an amazing energy to it," said Manning.
After Grateful Dead guitarist Jerry Garcia died and the group broke up in 1995, Mr. Packenham quickly changed his allegiance. ''I made the switch to Phish without too much grumbling," he wrote in his Harvard anniversary report.
Mr. Packenham coached Dedham Youth Hockey and lacrosse and Little League in Walpole.
''He never did anything half-heartedly, ''said Morrissey. " He was a living example of the old saying, 'If you want a job done, ask a busy man.' "

For those who believe in God, most of the big questions are answered. But for those of us who can't readily accept the God formula, the big answers don't remain stone-written. We adjust to new conditions and discoveries. We are pliable. Love need not be a command or faith a dictum. I am my own God. We are here to unlearn the teachings of the church, state, and our educational system. We are here to drink beer. We are here to kill war. We are here to laugh at the odds and live our lives so well that Death will tremble to take us.

"And just what would that be?" Seth asked bitterly. He wanted the testing to be over with, so he could move on, see Liliana again, maybe atone for his sins. As he waited for the reply he once again tried to pull the chains up, falling short. He was chained tightly, and that would make any test difficult if it required mobility. Still, he would persevere; he had to, if he wanted to pass.

"You said it yourself; there is five living traitor generals, and one dead one. You have the lucky fortune, of being destined to defeat them all," The robed man said. Seth arched and eyebrow as he tried to figure out what it meant.

"Karel is dead-"

"As are you, have fun Dahlios," The Time Walker said before he reached a hand out. He began muttering in some language before the bracelet on his wrist, which had been strangely dormant, began to glow. Soon a light was lifted from the dormant form of the changeling amulet before it began to swirl about the mysterious stranger. He raised a hand and the light came to it before he spoke, "Oh yes, that is exactly what’s to happen. If he fails, he's strong enough to replace you; you'd stand a good chance."

"I don't like the sound of this..." Seth said rather irately as he dropped into a crouch.

The man chuckled before he spoke, "Oh yes, you're free to form whatever you please, just remember, you lose, you go back in that prison. I sincerely hope for his sake, that he wins, it would make this whole end of the world thing a lot easier to do..."

The light flashed, dispersing the shadows, and causing Seth to cover his eyes for fear of blindness. When the light had passed and Seth had recovered Seth looked forward and groaned in displeasure. Before him stood a grizzled man, his hair stark white, much like his had been after he had corrupted. His face held stubble, but not much beyond that, his eyes cold and steely grey. They were almost lifeless, but the spark of life contained therein was still present, if faint.

What made Seth groan, was the suit of full plate. It gleamed brightly in the light of this place, and upon the chest, was the Symbol of the last Revanian King. Before him stood the Traitor General, Karel Dahlios, his ancestor, and he looked mighty pissed. Sighing he closed his eyes as he spoke his voice carrying to his opponent, "Well aint this dandy?"

"Shut up you pathetic excuse for a man! What kind of pond scum gives up a happy life to seek revenge? What kind of idiot gives up on a woman who loves him, and tries to get himself killed? You make me sick Seth, and after this is done, you'll have all the time to think about what you gave up, maybe I can talk your little lady into helping me kill my other brothers and sisters, so she at least knows what you were supposed to do!" With that he pulled on a helmet. He vaguely remembered that he was a master with the spear that even now extended and formed in his hands. He would have to get in close with his daggers...

His hands went to his sides as he realized, his heart skipping an undead beat in revelation, he was unarmed. The chains that bound him to the ground, were his only restraint and, ironically enough, his only weapon. As the spear was twirled about idly, Seth spoke up, "Cut down an unarmed man? That sounds about right for a Traitor General. Cardenas would be proud of his brother..."

Karel laughed as he spat on the ground before Seth, "You aren't unarmed, you're just blatantly stupid." With that he swung the spear around in an arc aimed straight for Seth's chest. As he brought his arms up reflexively to block his arms couldn't reach and the spear tip cut through his vest and shirt, leaving an arc of blood to sail through the air as indication of First Blood. Seth hardly felt the sting but was already in motion, as the follow up came about to cut down his body, perhaps trying to spill his guts, for the entire afterlife to see.

As he fought against his elder, he attempted to control the situation as the spear came down, by putting the chain in the way. As he hoped, the chain snapped, allowing him to pivot and get away from the General as he hissed, "Should have known, you are trying to kill me aren't you?"

The General let out another Laugh as he shouted, "You just don't get it, do you pup? Well, here's hoping I can knock some sense into you!" With that he turned his back to Seth, leaving it open, before the spear butt came straight into the stomach of Seth, knocking the wind from his lungs. Seth coughed greatly, gasping, and trying to reclaim the breath lost to him, as he tried to figure out what the hell was going on. Meanwhile General Dahlios came about for another downward swing, aimed straight for the head of Seth as he sought to end the fight in one swift blow.

[Note:] A post, but then again I was tempted not to put it up here...since it was so long, but I figured, ehh someone else did it, oh well.

Largely composed of nimble movements with the feet, the Crip Walk had a variety of purposes including recognition, showing love and loyalty to fellow Crip members, and making a loud statement to others that the walker is a member of the Crips. Another purpose of the dance was to insult rivals (most specifically the Bloods), in which they would spell out the name of their rivals and then cross it out. They would also spell out their names, neighborhoods, or other words related to themselves. Crip Walkers would also flash gang related hand gestures while performing the dance.

Birth date: June 23, 1987
Height: 5'8"
Weight: 122 lbs
Hair: Brown; wavy
Eyes: Blue
Ethnicity: Mexican American

Appearance Notes: What you see is not what you get with Camden. To the eyes of most, she has flawless skin, tantalizing blue eyes and a kissable mouth. Her visage is even complete with beauty mark. While her curvy, natural physique and long wavy brown hair are truth, her face is a lie to the eyes. In actuality, she uses her mutant powers to hide herself behind the perfect mask. Her true face is only slightly pretty, more plain on the left half, while the right is a mess of scar tissue of varying shades of reds and purples.

Citizenship: United State of America
Birthplace: Houston, Texas
Marital Status: Single
Occupation: Waitress
Group Affiliation: Xavier Institute
Education: Junior year of high school complete; senior year in progression
Resources: Poor

Costume Specifications: Nothing other than her everyday wear, though it is something to note that her boots are fitted with stirrups and the left one has a chain wrapped around the ankle several times, with a pair of dog tags hanging down in the back that click against the stirrup as she walks.

Equipment: None
Transportation: 1998 Harley-Davidson FXSTC

Special Abilities
Power Source: Genetic Mutation

Physical Powers:
Reality Mold
Power Level: Poor
Skill Level: Poor
Detailed power description:
With enough willpower put into it, Cam can actually transmute the form of an inanimate object. It cannot move on it's own or be organic for this to work. She can only change it's form, but not it's mass, therefore objects cannot yet be shrunk or grown. Emotional stress makes this skill more difficult for her to pull off. The overall affect just changes small aesthetics of non-living objects. This is permanent, though in the case of causing a part to bend, it does the same structural damage as physically bending it, making it easier to bend back into place.

Mental Powers
Eye of the Beholder:
Power Level: Excellent
Skill Level: Typical
Detailed power description:
Camden creates tangible illusions. They can move and create sound. They can be touched, and will also give off an illusion of texture when touched. They are, however scentless and while they are tangible, have to power of energy, thusly not being able to cause harm. These illusions are not permanent, and the more elaborate they are, the more concentration required to keep them.

Fighting Skills: None

Non-combat Skills: Camden, having grown up in a restaurant on the apronstrings of a great chef, is quite a cook.

Character Statistics
Fighting: Poor
Agility: Typical
Strength: Poor
Endurance: Excellent
Reason: Typical
Intuition: Good
Psyche: Typical

Health:34

Psychological Profile
Character Concept: Attention Deflection and Attack Disguise
Orientation: Bisexual

Demeanour: Autist
Nature: Poltroon

Notes:
While she does want to be accepted, and tries to fit in, Camden has always tucked tail and run rather than face the problems that make her feel like such an outsider. While she doesn't lie, she will omit any and all information she must to keep anyone from really seeing all her insecurities and bitterness. She will go to tremendous lengths to convince people that she is happy, pretty, and self-sure. Everything about her, from her personality to her mutant powers has to do with hiding what's really there.

Goals: To fit in
Weaknesses: Lack of self-esteem

Contacts: None
Relatives: Alessandra Massey - Mother
Enemies: None

History:
Camden Massey was born to two completely different people, personality wise. Her mother was a strong, quiet Mexican woman who had a passion for cooking. She liked nothing more than to see her family happy and fed well. Loyal to a fault, she never said anything when her husband, an American engineer, wasted all his money on drink and gambling. He ruined his mind with whiskey, until he lost his job and the family was forced to rely on the meager earnings a budding restaurant was bringing in. When Camden came along, and things got harder, Jude Massey started in on pyramid schemes to try and bring in a lot of wealth without any real work. It was, in his mind, the best he could do. While they only brought more financial hardship to the family, and took Jude away from home for days at a time, Alessandra let him have his foolish dreams. Her attention was ever more strongly focused on the restaurant and her beautiful baby girl.

No one was really surprised the day that Jude went missing. Alessandra had been waiting for him to just up and leave her and the child. The real surprise came a few days later when his body was found buried in a shallow grave outside of Houston. Alessandra sold the restaurant, picked everything up, pawned whatever had been her husbands that she no longer needed, and the two moved to Richmond, Virginia to begin their new life. At the time, Camden was only five years old.

The years passed normally, until Camden was fifteen. She was, like any normal teenage girl, crazy about boys. She had a crush on an older boy at her school, and she kept it secret, fearing herself to be too plain to have her attentions returned. One day Michael Cliffton cornered her in class. Despite whatever she had feared, he asked to drive her home, and who could resist that? He started giving her rides home every day after that, until one day the unthinkable happened. On their way to her house, they had jumped on I-64 to get around a bit of construction on the city roads. On the highway, a trucker was going through the city. Washington D.C. traffic had kept him, and he was running outside of his hours, dead tired. In the slower pre-rush hour traffic of the city, he was relaxing, nodding off. As the kids went to pass him, he drifted out of his lane, the tandem tires of his rig sliding over and bumping the side of the car that Camden and Michael were driving in. The two were shoved into the next lane, and the resulting crash was one that claimed a life that day.

Michael himself came through just fine, with only some cuts and bruises. Camden, however, had been unable to protect herself against shards of glass and metal from the wreckage. The passenger side of their car had taken the biggest hits, and along with a broken leg and fractured wrist, the entire right half of her face was shorn like crazy. She healed, though they couldn't afford the plastic surgery needed to repair the damage done to her looks, and with her pleading, her mother began to homeschool her. She bought a motorcycle for Camden from a friend, which Camden drove at night into the countryside. It helped relieve the cabin fever she felt by staying always inside, but didn't make her feel claustrophobic like the inside of a car did.

Michael's guilt was great, and it took nearly a year to come to grips with the fact that the accident hadn't been his fault. When he tried to see Cam, however, he was turned away. For a year and a half, he persisted, and began to gain the help of her friends from school. One day, twenty kids stood on her front lawn, calling to her. Alessandra decided that it was time for her daughter to stop living in shame. No matter how much her daughter begged her, she let her old friends into the house so that they could see her. As she heard the tromping of so many people coming back into her room, she started to panic, her breath coming shorter. Her eyes were squeezed shut tight, everything within her wishing that she were beautiful instead of hideous again. It was then that her mutant powers manifested.

When the kids walked into her room, she sat at her desk, gorgeous. Their jaws dropped and one of them whispered, "What the hell..." Burying her face in her hands, she begged them not to look at her, tried to turn away. It was then that Michael stepped out of the crowd.

"Why wouldn't we want to look at you?" he said softly. "You look amazing."

"Is this why you wanted to see me?" she asked, grabbing a small bear that had been sitting on her desk and chucking it towards the crowd. "So that you could humiliate me!?" Her anger was growing, but as she turned back towards the desk to grab a book to lob at them she caught sight of herself in the small mirror above her vanity. Her eyes flew open wide at the sight of someone with nearly impossible beauty. The shock of seeing the illusion for the first time slammed down on her, and the vision dropped. She stood staring suddenly at her face, just as scarred and mutilated as she knew it to be. Someone on the other room screamed, many others swore and gasped. Her breath was restricted again, panic coming flooding in even stronger than before, and as she grew dizzy, she heard Michael choke out, "What the hell are you!?" before he joined the rest in fleeing from her house. The dizziness turned into a dark fog coming in from her mind, and she fainted.

It only took a few days before her mother got a call from the Xavier Institute. Kids had been pelting the house with eggs, toilet paper and spraypaint bombs since the incident. She was confused, but she had heard, on the news and in the papers small stories here and there of "mutants", people who weren't quite right. Scary people, she had thought after reading a few of the more horrific stories. How could her daughter be one of them? At first she had thought the whole thing was a hoax, something out of George Orwell's prank book, but when she hung up with the Institute, her mind was made up. Camden fought her on it. She didn't want to be around anyone, was resolved that no one would be like her, no one would understand. But her mother, as always, was firm but fair.

"If you get there and don't like it," she said softly as she packed Camden's bags for her, "you can always come home. But give it a year. After all, you never know until you try."

With the small duffel bag packed tight with clothes was secured to the back of her bike, Camden said her goodbyes to the place she had begun to loathe and made the trek north. Her fears far outnumbered her hopes, but at least hope was something she still had.
