Yeah, so not only is today considered 'Luckiest day of the year/century' but it's also my brother's birthday, but anyway
Do you really think it's the luckiest day of the year, or do you think its just the media trying to get people to waste money on inflated wedding prices in Las Vegas?
Personally, I think it's a little of both, its a lucky day since my brother was born thirteen years ago on this day AND I made the perfect sandwhich today, but people are exaggerating things, those couples? Yeah, i think some will divorce on the count of rushing into things.
Just a thought I had today, and was wondering what you guys thought about it...
Actually, most places have had 7/7/07 booked (and I mean BOOKED) for weddings up to two years ago, meaning that the couple has had to stay engaged that long.
And the people getting married today BELIEVE it is the most fortuitous/auspicious day to get married. Faith is a powerful things.
Erm. It's not the media. It's people being their usual, crazy, superstitious selves.
You have to expect these things out of humanity by now.

Yep...all the casinos around here are booked, and the local churches are practically marrying people off every 15 minutes.
Faith can be powerful...if you believe it to be a lucky day, then it probably will be for you. Just like Voodoo. If you believe in it, it can effect you.
Today's been one of the shittiest day's I've ever had, so it must be propoganda bullshite...

My writers block broke today, so I'm pretty happy.

I got an original comic book/Anime storyline worked out today, along with character sketches...
Still, I think this is even better~! More fuel for my personal project! *Notes down a plethora of info*
But~ I think it's all in their heads. Makes you wonder, though, that the power of Faith can bring back even the dead. ;) (Figuratively Speaking)
It was my friend's birthday, and she had a pretty good time and everything went well.
But yeah, I'd say it's just superstition, working as normal.

7/13/07 was the greatest day of my life as far as I have lived it. 7/7/07 I didn't even notice.
There was nothing usual nor unusual on either the 7th or 13th. Until this very moment I never once thought of either being lucky or unlucky, and both were average boring uninteresting days. Therefore I propose that 90% of all luck is simply made up in one fashion or another.
