Amatullah Fadiyah

Name: Amatullah Fadiyah
Nickname: "Tullah"
Age: 23
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Height: 4'10"
Weight: 93 lb.
Appearance: Amatullah is a slender young lady with flowing locks of beautiful black hair. Her skin is a golden tan and her facial features have a soft and regal appearance. Gold-flecked brown eyes gaze out from under the cowl of her light tan cloak. Her full, soft lips are often pulled into a grim, but hopeful, smile. On the rare occasions that she removes her cloak, she can be seen wearing a tight black sleeveless shirt made entirely from intricate wraps of a single length of fine linen, and a long, flowing black skirt made to allow for free range of motion. Her feet are protected from the hot desert sands by a simple pair of thong sandals.

History:

Amatullah was born twenty-three years ago as the second daughter of the high priestess, Munirah Fadiyah. Her sister, Iman, three years her senior, would be raised as their mother's successor, though both would be taught their tribe's magic and how to handle a kukri.

The long years on the sands of Fallien have taught the girl humility, for one who is brash and boastful forgets their vulnerabilities and will be swallowed by the desert -- one way or another.

Amatullah has also been exposed to the culture of Fallien at large, unlike the rest of the tribe, as only the high priestess and her daughters are allowed, by tribal edict, to enter the settlements when supplies are needed.

Religion: Amatullah and her tribe worship the ancient god-form of whom there are many names, though the most common is Yahweh. It is neither he nor she, and therefore, unlike the rest of Fallien, within the tribe men and women are equals in most professions, with one stark exception. The Fadiyah line is a line of priestesses, for tradition dictates that the eldest daughter of the current high priestess be her successor, though all women of the line are trained in the magical traditions. It is customary for the priestesses of the tribe to be trained in the healing arts and the effects of the four elements on the mind, eventually learning how to strengthen or weaken an individual with the power of the elements. Each individual priestess, however, is allowed to learn her own magical specialties.
Skills:
Magic:
Healing Hands- Amatullah is relatively skilled at relieving the pain of others and healing small wounds with a touch and a prayer. This, however, requires time and focus, neither of which is at a premium in the heat of battle.
Emotional Caress- Amatullah has learned from her mother the basics of emotion-creation using the elements of Fire, Water, Air, and Earth, and can inspire weak imitations of powerful emotions, such as rage, sorrow, giddiness, and sternness, in others. She is, however, inexperienced and this magic is unreliable at best.
Tribal Protection Rite- At her birth, Amatullah was graced by a ritual performed on all women born to her line. Powerful magicks were worked to provide protection from the more perceptive of the Vadhya-twisted beasts, particularly the Karuku-tal. While such creatures may detect her presence in the usual manner, they have some small difficulty in pinpointing her location with their electromagnetic-detection methods. At the moment, Amatullah has no control over this ability, and it functions only when she sleeps, but as her power grows, she will be able to strengthen, weaken, and alter the effects of this ward.

Weapons:
Kukri Proficiency- Amatullah has been trained in the use of her calli glass kukri, and has basic understanding and mastery of the weapon.

Equipment:
Weapons:
Calli Glass Kukri- Amatullah possesses a kukri made of amber-colored calli glass that, while not so strong as the legendary cillu glass, is comparable to steel when tempered. (Confirmation from The Valkyrie on this information has been received.)

Personal Effects:
Hexagram Amulet- Amatullah wears about her neck an amulet of the hexagram, a six-pointed star, made from steel with a single, small bead of kiramaini glass at the center. This bead is blessed as the source of the Tribal Protection Rite magic that protects her, and therefore cannot be enchanted with any other magic. She holds this amulet as her most prized possession, and would never be tempted to sell it.

Emotional caress can only be used against a character with OOC permission, and you have average skill with the Kukri.

Keep that in mind.

Approved.
