Name: Archillite Eladas
Race: Human
Gender: Male
Age: 23
Height: 6’1”
Weight: 185 lbs
Hair Color: White
Eye Color: Red
Skin Color: Light brown

Appearance
--
A black coat covers his body most of the time, very lightly woven, but just enough to keep him satisfied. The coat reveals his upper chest, comes together towards his stomach, where a large metal button holds the two sides together, then spreads apart from there down to his shins. Under his coat is a crimson colored garnet, collared, also very light in material. On his back he carry’s the burden of chains, and an enchanted guitar, respectively named the Desdemona. Crossing with the guitar, making an X shape, is his scythe, the Slithian. His pants are ragged and worn out, irreplaceable because of favor, and made of a material that similarly resembles jean. As for his feet, a pair of utility boots support him in his endless trekking. Also, a pair of gloves cover his hands, which cut of at his fingers.

From his pale skin, Arch is often mistaken for as a vampire. Aside from the fact that he very much appears to be a vampire, his clothing, aids in the misperception. He puts on a “silent” guise while traveling. The mysterious figure is lonely, quiet, and no doubt trouble if bothered. Arch never liked being bothered – this was his way of repelling strangers. Yet, those who know him can see clearly past his outfit.

Personality
--
Arch divided the people he knew: The easy categorization of friend and foe. There was no real in-between, because for them, Arch would cautiously (as Arch did many things this way) place them into foe. In his rigid system, few friends were made, or more importantly, few were kept. He didn’t mind few friends – because the ones he had, usually picked and trusted over a long period of time, were those important to him, and enough was enough. It was simple – he didn’t like to be bothered.

The privilege of laying back, stopping, and watching the world revolve around him, while noticing the details, however large or small, excited Arch. Often, he played himself in games of observation. It was his favorite position in life – the silent, but feared spectator.

Weapons
--
Desdemona – The Enchanted Guitar
From his past, his story began with this guitar. A guitar that held a devil inside of it. The music it produced was not only comparable to a symphony, but also enchanted the weapons that Arch bound with it. From its wicked tunes, Arch is able to gain the upper hand in battles from the effect of what they place on his weapons, as well as spells on others. Like a wand for a sorceress, this guitar was Arch’s casting tool. Along its surface are tattoos and stickers, never placed their by Arch himself, but there from the time he received it from an unknown.

Slithian – The Enchanted Scythe
With the Desdemona came the Slithian, a scythe the length of 5 feet. From the tip to the rod, the blade spans nearly 2.5 feet long. Similar to the Desdemona, tattoo and symbols can be traced along the stick and blade. The stick itself is made of trakym, while the blade is steel, allowing it to bend. The midrange weapon is Arch’s favorite choice.

Duatox – Twin Venom Daggers
The two daggers were originally weapons of his ancestors, weapons that were bathed in venom (hence the name – The “Dual Toxins”), and with the power of the symbols and guitar, were able to produce venom of their own. Under Arch’s current hands, they fall short of this toxic, and thus their treachery can not fully be shown. They do, however, still serve as quick and deadly weapons in short range combat, as they hang easily accessible in sheathes that dangle are firmly strapped to Arch’s belt. Both daggers are made of dehlar. The daggers can be enchanted by the Desdemona.

Chains – Mr. Restraint
The chains that fasten most of Arch’s equipment comfortably on his back may also be used to their full effectiveness. In total length, they reach nearly 8 feet of metal, a considerable size for the over 6-foot DMR. Arch has never really used them to whip others, but he’s had them on his mind.

Armor
--
For the most part, Arch is lightly attired in the armor department. A plate is suited beneath his upper clothing. It’s an especially light form of a plate, to allow comfort and easy mobility. Made out of light iron, the armor has been dented and repaired countless times. Only other note to Arch in his lack of armor…The only other forms of armor Arch wears are the chain gloves that do not cover his fingers, and the shin guards made of metal and leather.

Items
--
Crest of Sound – Fine Tuner
The jade earring, attached to Arch’s left ear, provides him with an amazing enhancements of the ear. Just wearing the crest of sound, Arch is able to gain many advantages normal human ears do not have. For one, it enhances Arch’s hearing to be nearly as superior as that of an elf’s, allowing his hearing to expand in distance. The boost in hearing also allows Arch to have excellent sound pitch and can easily notice notes in music. This allows for better composing, as well as fine-tuned music and instruments. When activated the crest also allows for numerous advantages (listed in spells).

The crest is also linked to Arch’s harpy, as both were found together. If the crest comes off of Arch’s ear, the harpy will follow it and stay with it until it is returned to Arch. During its absence, Arch will hear endless screeches from the harpy, expressing her sadness. The farther Arch is from the two, the louder the screeching inside his head will be. Although the sound can only be heard by him, it eventually grows loud enough to make him insane if he is separated far and long enough.

Familiar
--
Schrillicia – The Harpy
Schrilicia was an egg when Arch found her, and has grown to become no taller then Arch’s knees. The half bird half-human responds to Arch’s call, responding with a treacherous voice. Almost like the opposite of a Siren, Schrillicia’s voice is loud, dangerous, and painful. Due to her current size, however, her voice and body are still young. She is currently more like a pet, then anything else.

Skills
--
Crest of Sound Spells

Lessay – One of the sound crest skill’s is that when activated, the crest can allow for an immense amount of boost in Arch’s hearing. However, this is very dangerous to Arch, as even a cough or a sneeze beside him could hurt, and possibly damage his ears. The skill is mainly used for scouting far distances.

Desdemona Song Spells
Spells from the Dedemona (from either section of weapon are character enhancers) are only allowed two active a time. Most of these spells also have long cast rates, ranging from 30 seconds to many minutes.

Weapon Enhancers

These are spells at that Arch can cast upon the weapons that share the bind of the seals with his Desdemona – he has two of such weapons, currently, his scythe and his daggers.

No More Seeing – This spell only works on Arch’s scythe. The spell makes Arch’s scythe invisible, and undetectable to the eye. Arch has yet to find someone who was able to see it while invisible. The scythe is not invisibly to Arch, however, it still retains it’s physical shape and requires his hands to hold, which is very obvious. The invisibility slowly degrades away, taking nearly two hours for the complete scythe to return. Parts of it come back at a time, so it is possible that the blade would come back in the first 15 minutes and cause for easy detection. Invisibility is also lost as soon as the weapon touches another body. 1.5 minute cast rate.

Sea Waves, Song Waves – This spell is cast able only to Arch’s daggers, and only one of them at a time. The guitars sound waves are basically transmitted into the dagger’s symbols. If the dagger is swung, the sound waves will release and can cause physical damage from enemies in the distance. The distance of the sound waves travel 20 feet so far. If impacted within 5-6 feet, the attack will equal the damage of a strong attack as well as causing cuts into the receiver’s body. If taken from 15 feet, it is merely a light push that would probably push the person’s balance at most. 1.25 minute cast rate.

Character Enhancers

These spells can be cast upon himself or allies, mainly as support magic (you can think of them as temporary auras). Spells may stack on top of one another, but most spells come at a cost.

For the K.I.A. – The moral booster for soldiers. The tune enhances moral, courage, and speed, at the expense of more consumed body energy. Like a temporary drug, this spell lasts as long as the user still have ¼ of their body energy left. Continuing onward would be too dangerous for the body.

History

What Was

It was many a boy’s dream to become a rocker… but which boy’s dream was to become a killer?

Youth Years
Arch was never left uninspired during youth. Growing up in an area filled with music, the Raerian town was filled with music of all types. Far above all genres of music to Arch was rock. Word of new bands sprouted like weeds. There was a new band to fall in love with, everyday. The naïve dream of being a rocker himself... and it wasn’t long before high school came, and the band of his dreams formed.

It was a simple band – popular amongst the town and arguably good enough to hit success across the world. However, this town was filled with starting bands… rivalries were inevitably born. With popularity came hate – it was as simple as that. Arch’s band, gaining success in nearly every gig they threw, mad the mistake of underestimating their rival bands.

“Battle of the Bands” had a whole new meaning now – it wasn’t just through music, but physical beatings as well. The competition heat up ever worse, when sponsorships were offered to the top bands. With such high stakes for a musical future, the fight was vital. Arch as leader of the band led his way into the competition, after time, his band stood boldly on top without trouble.

It soon came the day when they were hit. Their little motel windows silently shattered as hands of death tore them open. One by one, the blood of Arch’s band members spouted through the air like fountains. Room by room, member by member… It came down to Arch, at the very last room, who had not heard a peep of noise as the silent killer had slain his fellow friends.

The very night, Arch’s disturbing dreams kept him from paying attention to his surroundings. Even when awoken, the dream of dark colors could not escape his mind. The colors swirled, red, black, gray and morbid, and swirled even as he awoke and opened his eyes. The swirling slowed, a figure stood, kneeling down beside his bed head down, as if pledging to Arch. In his right hand, a scythe stood, tip bloodied, in the other hand a guitar. As the figure raised his hand, it whispered the words, “It has been set. Now, you must run! Hurry, now, you must run…” Before his head completely tilt up, the distinct eyes appeared familiar, then the body vanished before him.

It was now Arch’s windows breaking down, not by the silent killer, but by rioters. The word had spread – three band members killed, the last one suffering. Arch grabbed the guitar, scythe, and fled. The halls flooded in with mad men, all hunting down Arch, cursing him down. Arch nearly tripped as a hand reached out from him from a door. The last of surviving band member summed up the energy to scream, “You backstabbing piece of sh*t, you lousy piece of SH*T… It was you, wasn’t it youuugh…”

The flee from town and adventure to the rest of Althanas was now set.

Level 1
At the start, Arch spent most of his time in the Scara Brae. There he met many friends to come, as well as foes. Within time he picked up a great amount of experiences and left the little training market to a broader world.

During the early times when Arch was new to the open Althanas, he quickly joined the popular bandits of Corone. Led by Yari Ranafas at the time, the Bandit Brotherhood soon become Arch’s family. Countless tales were formed as Arch stuck with the group of bandits as he learned the ropes of survival in the open world.

Level 2
It was soon to come that Arch joined forces with the Façade, a group which had an alliance with the Bandit Brotherhood. It was during this time that both groups needed as many men as they could get. The Bazaar War had begun, Arch participated with the attacking side. The bigger names of Althanas began to impact Arch during this time of war.

Then there was Cell, one of Arch’s most memorable events. Comrades as well as enemies locked up inside the same cage – utter madness that the Arch bitterly recalls. It was a learning experience, however, and proved vital for earning trust (and losing) amongst big names that Arch had heard about.[/color]

Level 3
Little has changed for Arch. After the Bazaar War of Althanas, Arch slid away from Althanas. For the most part, he has made his way in and our of Althans society. However, most of his friends, as well as enemies, have been long forgotten on the grounds that Arch once waged war upon. He lived amon legends - but never having the chance to become one, Arch begins his resurrection. After years of solitude, his return has shown little change in character – but a newborn eagerness to return.

I seem to remember the username DMRocker, and I think the EXP/GP amount is fair. But if I find out you were trying to trick me, I'll break your guitar and make you eat it. ;)

Speaking of the guitar, I need to know what's it made of. Other then that, you're good to go.

No lies here ;).

And the guitar is made out of the real-world wood, mahogany.
