Seeing as he hadn't known the destination of the boat, Koukai hadn't come adequately clothed for the colder-climate of Savlar. It was easily evidenced as he kept his arms withdrawn into the insides of his lengthy forest green cloak, made of dyed wool, which he had tied shut so as to seal in what little heat he gave off. Rubbing his arms every once in awhile to generate heat was more of an act of desperation than actually helping, but it made him think it was helping and that was what counted.

The snowfall had melted, causing the dirt to become a quagmire of slush and mud and made this wonderful experience all the more miserable as his brown boots sent up slight splashes with each step. The locals had proper clothing on where as underneath his cloak he was wearing a short-sleeved shirt that was more so designed to keep one fairly cool. The problem was that it was doing its job to damn well.

So the first steps in the wandering revolutionaries journey, was to find warm clothing...

Roderick sat behind the counter at a cutting table, stitching together the perfect coat for a wealthy gentleman. It was getting cold out, and a warm coat was never amiss in the frigid tundra that was Salvar.

He looked up as a young rapscullion entered his shop, and his long fingers traced over his silver goatee. This kid was definitely a foreigner, and in no way suited for the cold that Salvar offered.

Fortunately, Roderick had a vast selection of climate appropriate clothing, and he watched as the kid looked around.

"Want anything in particular, young sir?"

Judging by the quality of the piece of clothing the shop-keeper was making, Koutai might be in a place outside his price range. And he wasn't an expert in clothing, he'd just been given it as Mr. Wiggles saw fit. That and his haggling skills weren't really something to be proud of could make this a terrible deal. But who knows...

"Er...yeah, do you h-have something warm but durable?"

He was stuttered for a second when a shiver ran through his body, it was warmer in the shop (I assume it's inside? O.o) than outside and the alterations in temperatures was pleasent. Had Koutai and his gold simply stepped into a spider's parlor though?

OOC: Can I change my hair? I tossed and turned alot last night cause it bothered me X_x

Don't put out of character stuff in the middle of text.

Roderick chuckled at the incredulous look on the youngster's face as he noticed the high-quality, expensive clothing at the front of the store. While the old shopkeep tended to keep better wares on display, he had something for everyone, and was sure he could accommodate the lad.

"Everything here is warm and durable, boy. This is Salvar! You don't go around in ragged shorts here if yo want to stay comfortable! Tell me, what are you looking for, exactly?"

Holy crap! OOC-tags! It's amazing! Sorry for the long delay, I never did get your message till yesterday, then step-dad only lets me online 2 hours a day >_<

Exactly...well, I don't think he means "summer pants" or "winter pants". Stupid Mr. Wiggles! He should've taught us this bizarre art required in purchasing clothing. But what about wool? That's warm...but how flameable is it...

"Uh...", he paused for a second as his hands started gesturing, such motions usually helped him in his thought process, "Wool leggins and shirt? Preferably in a darker color..." Don't forget how itchy it is! "With some kind of lining also! Is that still too vague?"

"I have black and brown woolen sets lined with fleece, cotton, linen, and silk."

Roderick raised an eyebrow at the boy. He looked completely lost inside the clothing shop. A young whelp, he decided. Probably had never shopped for himself before.

"First time buying clothes without your mother's help, young man?"

Koukai didn't really pick up on the insult, he had after all left his Mother behind at a fairly young age. So there weren't many pleasent memories of trips to the market place. Especially in the area of clothing and other items they used to say were "too much for a damned waste like you".

"This is the first time. Last time she sowed together some curtains in the shape of a noose...I always did love that shirt. It was fun making holes for the arms and such in the extra length," his voice was a tad distant at that point, those times weren't anywhere near good, but it was when he lived before Mr. Wiggles exposed the "vast and all-powerful conspiracy" to him and some others.

Growing up where he did, the items sounded a bit vague and unfamiliar, but cotton didn't! He remembered one of the other recruits complaining about getting stuck with wash-detail. And like every single video-game character who poorly attempts to gain at least level 1 bad-assery through the much overused color, Koukai cast the dice and chose.

"Black with wool?"

Again, the quirked eyebrow.

Kids nowadays. Never know where they are and what they're saying...

Thus, Roderick had to infer by the way the boy's face brightened at the word 'cotton,' that it was the fabric he wanted.

Going over to the rack where he had his woollen suits, Roderick picked out a couple of the cotton-lined ones that seemed to be about the boy's size.

"Try these on, see what fits."
