How many have seen all of firefly and the movie Serenity?

I'm kinda upset since I just finished the last disc of the series...so much good stuff and not going anywhere....

Just pisses me off kinda...

SO to keep this from becoming a rant, what was your favorite character? How about your favorite one liner?

OMG! I love Serenity/Firefly soooo much. I went out and bought the movie and the series. It makes me happy. Fave character is definitely Kaylee - we're a lot alike in some ways. Fave one liner is probably from the movie:

"...I ain't had nothin' 'twixt my nethers weren't batteried operated near on a year!" -- Kaylee

I love wash, especially during War Stories when he decides he's going with Mal instead of Zoe.

My favorite oneliner?

Saffron, then Mal very very closely behind. But Jayne has my favorite one liner.

The Pilot episode is made of win as well. 10 minutes of a mexican standoff, then Mal comes in, blows him away, Zoe and Jayne carry his body and dump it, and they deal with more important issues. I love Josh Wheadon because of it.

yeah it sucks it got canceled, one of the best sci fi shows I've seen.

I have to say my favorite character is Wash^^ Then Zoe and then Mal.

Wash is the best. I love how in the first scene with him he's playing with dinosaur toys.

harhar.. My name on msn was "Bullet in the brainpan, squish!" for awhile. (As of course, you know Ataraxis.)

Mal is one of my favorites, because the actor just plays him so well. He never gets ruffled, he just kinda goes with the flow. But Kaylee is the most fun.. River is crazy fun.. Wash is dumb fun.. bleh.. I like them all :p

Just finished Serenity...

Probably the only thing that hit me hardest, wasn't Wash's death. It was just too quick... No, it was Books. Out of all the people, I loved book the most. He was that preacher that wasn't preachy, but told you what you NEEDED to hear...

Good movie...so Sad to see the story end like that, you could tell there was SO much that was left to be done...

Yeah, I liked it. My dad followed the series through and through and was royally pissed when they took it off the air, and how Fox showed the episodes out of order. Dumbasses. :mad:

I liked Mal and Preacher, but hey, they were all fantastic. Though it brings me back a bit because one of my dad's favorite episodes was "His Name is Jane". God, what a bunch of creative writers. I'm just glad that the rest of television isn't ran by Fox's blind facism. If you haven't seen it yet, the guy who plays Mal is in another series called Drive.. on fox. It got cancelled as well, I believe. He doesn't seem to be able to cut a break nowadays. Ah, show business. :rolleyes:
