Okay so some of you might remember the Endless War I tried to tell in Haidia a whiles back before the crash. That's basically what this thread is. Its a recruitment for a war in Haidia. It takes place in the past before the Demon Exodus to that boring new place Haide. I'm trying to establish a certain level of back-history in Haidia with these stories so that players take more interest in this really cool place. After all a lot of really interesting things originate from Haidia like a CERTAIN race of vampires. (Note: Not ALL Vampires originate from Haidia)

So here's the deal. I need a team of steady posters who are willing to help out in Haidia. Since most people are against anything Haidia does, the Characters probably need to be Neutral or Evil Characters. I am looking for a lot of lower level Characters (No high level's UNLESS you can justify a reason to be in the quest) to be in this spot-light the new talent in Althanas.

So basically for those of you who don't know; The Endless are my own creation. They are a race unique to Althanas. Spawned by N'Jal they originally served her as a bio-weapon collecting a huge mass in the deeper portions of Haidia's unexplored wilderness. Basically a parasitical organism, they appear as a thick moving blob of some sort of black oily substance. They move VERY fast. What they attempt to do is take over a host and once you're caught you become an Endless yourself. If your Character is caught in this fashion you can still play your Character as an Endless.

Lorenor is the Carrier of the Endless but at that point in the story--he didn't know it yet. He didn't know the origin of the Symbiote until what happens AFTERWARDS. If I complete this quest I have more material for a series of these quest if we do well. I'm looking for at least 3-5 steady posters but its open to ALL level 0's-2's just apply here and say you're registered. As always NO BUNNYING of my NPC's are allowed and there is no posting order, I just want to get through this quest reasonably fast.

We have a chance to get some good stuff towards the end from the Vampire Nation before its collapse at the hands of the Dwarves.

As part of my PC's plot he will be proceeding to Haidia shortly for purposes of his own. I could be ready to jump in full swing within a couple weeks.

I'm not sure I understand the quest though. Wrae is not, at the moment, prone to being especially "evil". He will in fact be coming into conflict with the denizens of Haidia over the course of his foray. I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for.

A general outside influence might be good for the quest Wrae. You already have good enough reason to be in Haidia. Basically think of it as this; the vampires are hiring a group of Mercenaries from the Surface World. Its pretty much as a simple as that. People are vanishing off in a certain part of the Haidia Wilderness. We gotta investigate, and stop any potential threat from spreading outside of that area. The vampire elders have knowledge that its a parasitical life-form killing their people off. So we get sent to sort of deal with this problem.a

So if you want in bud, you're in.

This all sounds like it could fit nicely. As long as you don't mind a certain amount of crossover with what I have plotted out for Wrae -- especially toward the end of the thread where I'll need to lead in to a search he'll be carrying out for an item recently stolen from him -- count me in.

Well, I'm curious to this.. just wondering how far back in the past it's set as aside from 'the past' you haven't specified.
Not really evil characters.. more neutral, with a preference to self preservation over anything else. And well, as mercs, money or well, whatever gain there is to be had, if it's worth it.. that's what matters.

If you really want in I can fit you in. I'm trying to look ideally for an Adventure Party of about 5 people give or take. It takes place about a year or two BEFORE the Dwarves' take over Haidia. So it is considerably in the past (Maybe a decade or so ago?) you can use the laws of liquid time to justify your character being in this quest. I'd definitely like to have you aboard since I'm primarily looking for a buncha level 0's and 1's the intro post is already up. We have basically two factions of demons more or less at war with the rest of Haidia. One is The Harrow and one is The Endless. Our primary concern is The Endless though. Unless the owner of The Harrow okay's the use for them in the rest of the quest. Basically I'm trying to finish up a really old quest Pre-Crash.
