Well, I didnt' mean to make it seem that i was the most inconvenienced by the Thai coup. I'm sure most of Thailand, save those garlanding the soldiers, was generally inconvenienced by the events to a much greater extent than I.

Anyhow, I have a great deal of respect for Thailand. Despite all the struggles and political unrest the country has had, they have done surprisingly well in developing the country and have maintained a very moral foreign policy all things considered (Thaksin excepted). While I don't blame you for wanting out, there are definately good reasons to be proud of being Thai. And I don't just mean the delicious Pad See-ew.
