Far north of Salvar lies a dead kingdom, in pretty much every sense of the word. Brackten was a powerful country many centuries ago, sporting some of the finest warriors and strongest mages, among all the usual goods and trades it had a particulary large basis in the industry of enhancing weapons, vast armouries filled with swords able to cleave a dragon in two, lances able to find the heart of any opponent and armour that could just about withstand these blows. Such power couldn't be contained by any ruler permanently and eventually a civil uprising created and nailed down the coffin lid upon the kingdom. With such power unleashed for the purposes of hatred the land died bit by bit, fertile farmland nothing but powdered sand unable to sustain the meagerest of weeds or spores.
Its single shoreline turned to cracked and blasted glass, the nearby waters purged of oxygen and freed from the tides, a stagnant body of water that would pull all under to become the only strain of life inside it, however temporary that was. Only one structure remained standing after the war and that was the castle of Brackten itself, barely visible through the sand storms and often thought a mirage due to its insane terrain within a sand strewn horizon where millions of corpses lay slumped, clutching their powerful artifacts. For in the center of this Castle Brackten rests upon a mire sucking it brick by brick under the dead land.
This has always been a hushed whisper among treasure hunters, despite the apparent ease of plucking weaponry and armours from corpses exposed overland, the simple fact that these items remained untouched stood as a stark message that Brackten was not a place to visit on a whim.
A simple message had been slung through many taverns and merchant caravans in Salvar, bearing a very simple message.
I Voliedo Fenton have desire to plunder the Brackten Wastes, interested parties are to meet on the borderland, payment will be grand and scavengers rights will also be in effect. A prepared transport will await your arrival to begin this venture
---
Looking for about three to four people for this, a quest against opponents armed with weapons and armour that make even the Highlanders slammer look a bit weak, this won't be a simple snatch and grab though, as time passed a lot of the enchantments have worn off leaving very little high powered finds though of course barely anyone would know this ICly.
So post here if you fancy a little desert trek.
