Once every two months, a hierarch may request leave. When this request is granted, all responsibilities of the hierarch are paused until his estimated return, at which point they resume immediately. This break may last up to two weeks; if it goes on longer, the hierarch may be removed from his position in the Pagoda.

In order to request leave, the following conditions must be met:

- The request must come at least a full day before the actual break begins.
- The estimated date of leave and return must be posted.
- The hierarch must list all of his current Dajas Pagoda battles.

Hierarchs may announce leave and return in this thread.

I know I just became a Hierarch, but life waits for no man, or woman.

My City is in the predicted path of Hurricane Ike. Already some minor communications problems are being experienced. While I don't want to take leave, nor do I want the internet to fail for my area, I must indeed take proper precautions.

If nothing happens, then let us assume this leave request never happened, if something does, then at least I was prepared. Heck, I might even be over reacting, and I hope I am, but it's hard to argue with a hurricane.

Ike is expected to come into my area sometime friday night, saturday afternoon, and thought to leave after sunday. But I'm extending my leave for the entire ten days tomorrow. So at the worst, I should be back on monday, the 22nd. At best, I never leave at all.
