Godhand Striker

Name: Godhand Striker ((May or may not be real name.))

Age: 35

Hair Color: Silver

Eye Color: Crimson

Height/Weight: 6'2, 200 pounds

Occupation: ((Currently unemployed, as he has become more selective of his mercenary work. If anyone asks, he proclaims himself a wine collector and enthusiast.))

Location: The Wild and Windy Night

Weapons: See signature

Armor: Steel Breastplate

Items: See signature

Appearance: Godhand has a rather ominous look about him. His gaze is relentless and most weak-willed find it unnerving. His body is well sculpted and powerful, but occasionally marred by stabbing and bullet scars. By far the most prominent of these is the violent-looking tear over the right side of his abdomen. Normally his entire body is concealed in coats of various makes and sizes, with his protective blast-suit recently figuring rather enduringly as of late. When wearing a business suit however, he oozes a peculiar charm no doubt acquired during his tenure a Mafia soldier.

Personality: Those that only that only know him in passing would say that Godhand is a thoroughly laid-back individual. This is not entirely true. With old friends he makes many jokes and is quite warm, and he is certainly courteous with strangers. However many would say that his words seem somehow insincere with strangers, though he puts effort into making his sincerity come across. And many friends would say that he sometimes seem hollow, even when laughing. In private Godhand is a relentlessly troubled person although only a select few of his very close friends have seen him this way. Alone, he habitually contemplates suicide and on the few occasions people have asked him about it he jovially replies that he’s still “Trying to get the balls to pull it off.” He’s not really joking.

Profile

Not much is known of Godhand's biological origins. As a baby, he was found crying at the edge of a cliff overlooking a village by a group of it's inhabitants conducting a religious ceremony. Believing he was a gift from the Gods in answer to their prayers, the infant was quickly saved by the villagers.

Godhand was not raised by a particular family, but given abode in a monastery within the village. Fearful of undermining or disrespecting an emissary from the heavens, everyone in the village treated him as an equal, even the respected elders. As soon as he learned to walk and utter coherent syllables, Godhand had a Murasame thrust upon him and his training began.

Obviously, the steel blade was much too heavy for him to handle at such a tender age, but his attending Blade Master's insisted he learned with it instead of a wooden sword. The infant was forced to develop himself physically intensely in order to appease his trainers.

The academical side of his upbringing was not ignored, however. With the large monastery library and the finest teachers at his disposal, the child's knowledge and eloquence grew at an amazing rate. He was also instructed in the ways of etiquette, and above all, chivalry.

By the age of eight he could draw with a regional champion in a game of Chess, and defeat a Cadet twice his age in a sparring session. His body also seemed to work at unusual speed as well. While wounds would cauterize at a normal pace, he seemed to generate enough blood to constantly compensate the blood lost by even a major wound.

However, when training in the outskirts of town one day, an accident occurred which left Godhand bleeding to death for three days in a patch of grass. ((This is explained in detail in a quest, as well as the reason why the wound didn't scab and heal normally)). Unable to die in such a manner, the swordsman was finally found by a shepherd taking his flock out to graze. He was rushed to the town and to the infirmary, and when the agent preventing his skin from closing was neutralized, underwent a normal recovery.

Unknown to the relieved villager's, however, a change had occurred in Godhand during those agonizing days. The blinding and constant pain he had endured for those seventy-two hours, never achieving sleep or unconsciousness, along with screaming for help until his voice gave out and his throat burned, had left deep psychological scars. The most proper way to put it was that he had bled away all of his emotions, and along with them, his fears.

He now viewed the earth like in a thoroughly pragmatic fashion. His spectrum of emotion was thoroughly subdued and if you were to see him in one extreme of joy or the other it is more than likely an act he chooses for the sake of seeming more human to those around him. He remained in the village until the age of twenty-seven. By then he had completed his swordsmanship and marksmanship training. Afterwards, he thanked the villagers, and left. At the moment he walks the earth and does what is necessary to keep himself alive. He takes the time to listen to classical music, search out fine wine and indulge in some vice or other. Living for the sake of living might be called a waste by some, but the alternative should be contemplated thoroughly before choosing it.

Abilities:

Godhand can now leap 40 feet into the air; 45 if he has a running start.

Expert Swordsmanship.

Skilled Marksmanship.

Godhand is a master of Shaolin, Long Fist, and Iron Fist.

Atlas' Strength: Godhand now has the ability to lift a maximum of up to 7000 pounds. He can also snap Delyn and bend Titanium. (Albeit not without some difficulty.)

Dragon Transform: Godhand has come to terms with the madness inside the human heart. He has finally subdued the beast that threatened to consume him. ((More on this on a later quest.))

Godhand has lost the Dragon Transform ability.

Wendigo Immunity: Due to Godhand's peculiar biological make-up, he has developed an immunity to any form of skill absorbing attack. None of the swordsman's abilites may be assimilated in any way, shape, or form unless the exchange is done willingly on his part.

New Ability:

Wall Run: As a result of his extensive martial arts training, Godhand has discovered that he has the ability to focus himself and achieve extraordinary results. The first application he has uncovered is one which effectively makes him the center of his own universe, freeing himself from gravity's effects. It allows him to run at full speed on a vertical surface for 40 feet.

Note: Due to his inexperience with the nature of this focused state, the swordsman must also employ his body's physical prowess to it's fullest. He is unable to walk on a vertical surface; it must be a run or he'll simply fall.

Obtained From Quest:

Pheromone Aura: During the events of Something Wicked This Way Comes, Godhand was forced to spend a large amount of time in close proximity to an enormous concentration of lustful Moontae Succubi. As a result of the density and unrelenting tide of pheromones, much of the chemical managed to literally get under his skin. As a result, when members of the opposite sex are in proximity to Godhand they are irresistibly drawn to him. The lower the other character’s level, the stronger the effects with a female of level four already enthralled by him fairly intensely. As of the moment he has no idea he possesses this skill. It is passive and constantly in effect.

Alright I'm going to agree with Damon's judgement of your character. The new ability learned from the quest can be resisted by strong willed women (sorry but irresistable attraction is too strong) so you will have to finagle the resistant ones.

Approved.
