Tailya is going shopping! She has no point or purpose or any particular reason what so ever to be doing so, but she is.
Okay, small lie. She has a small, tiny, itsy, bitsy, weeny, lil reason why she’s shopping. Some poor sod left 300gp out on the window sill where just any old duffer could pick it up and well. So Tailya had come along. and to save this poor unfortunate soul of losing their money she’d collected it. Now she’s just looking after that pouch of money until she finds the owner and can give it back.
Yeah, totally.
Anyway, she’s in the BAZAAR! Woo!
Look at all those people and shops and things and stuff. All different goodies and doodads that can do all sorts of things and be put to all sorts of uses. But what does she reeeeally want? Like seriously. A girl’s gotta want something sometimes and well..
She doesn’t need a weapon, nothing is gonna out do her warhammer, no way in the heavens or the earth, nope. Perhaps a new blouse or breeches? These she’s wearing are likely to get old veeeery quickly, but like, she could get something better.
Underwear? Those are likely to get old even quicker than the overclothes.. But currently only she has to deal with them, she’s not about to go gallivanting through town in her smalls. No, Tailya uh.. well she doesn’t really have more ‘class’ than that, but she’s got the self respect, yeah, them’s the words.
So what else? Some sort of random travellers accessory doodad?
Jewellery’s pretty.. Ooo look at all those shiny little baubles on that table. But really, what’s she gonna do with them? Beat off some guy who tries to mug her? Actually.. that could be fun. Uh, wrong mindset. Anywho.
Tailya moves onwards through the market place, ignoring this and that seller, while pouring over others no different to those she passes. Really, this girl has no mind what so ever as to what she wants. She possibly needs someone to persuade her to buy something or other.
She’s getting closer to the livestock quarters, the smell not so agreeing with that finely tuned nose, nor the screeching, bellowing, hollering of the various animals to the ears either. Bother. Can’t they like, muzzle or gag or even just cut the tongues out of the stupid beasts? Like seriously, what’s an animal need to be able to communicate for? You’re gonna eat it one way or the other anyway!
But this isn't the point..
To market!
We’re at market!
So to buy at market!
Waha!
Yeah, I’ve sorta maybe kinda possibly an idea of something to buy, but any sort of persuasion to one thing or another by a possible vendor could convince me otherwise! So yeah ^^ I’ve got nothing.. but money and a want to spend!

Rashid watched the young lady wander from stall to stall as she moved down the lane. With what he thought was a pleasant smile he called out to the young woman.
"Dearest Lady, would you not cast your pretty gaze over my wares? Fine clothing, shiny baubles, weapons made for a lady's hand I have. You wound me to the core with your causal glances." A mock expression of pain wiped away the oily smile. Rashid bowed to the pretty woman with a flourish of hands. Once again the too wide smile had returned, inadvertently showing a mouth of blackened teeth.

A voice with some words and Tailya turns to see some creepy dude leering at her. Lovely, really.
She comes over and listens to his spiel.
Wounded her ass, he’s just like any other lil snivelling vendor who’s out for a profit, she’s just one of many who he’s hoping to of hooked claws into to buy something. She ignores the bad acting and actually makes a point of looking over the available wares. Since she’s here she might as well.
“What makes it finer than anyone else? I don’t see nothing special here,” she puts quite bluntly, suppressing the shudder that wishes to crawl up her spine from viewing such horrid teeth. Like really, how could you do that to yourself? A girl with a distinctly carnivorous bent knows the importance of good oral hygiene.
A hand runs over a couple of the materials, testing texture and thickness but finding nothing to her taste. Most everything’s too gaudy and impractical. Sure, that pale blue bit there’d match her eyes, but it’d tear at least hint of stress. She dismisses the lot of them
A couple of the trinkets catch her eye, but she’s wary towards showing much interest, prices just that way.. and there’s just that hint of suspicion that the things probably cost an arm and a leg as is.
Still, there’s one pretty little locket thing she particularly likes. Mn, maybe if he has nothing better..
Again she passes over and looks over what’s left. Various weapons and other various odds and ends, the vendor really is a man of all sorts isn’t he? Probably a couple of rather fine bits among the garbage, but Tailya hasn’t got the eye for any of them.
Boring.
“Is this it? I can do better at other tables for everything ya got here.” Not necessarily true, but it’s the game you play isn’t it?

" My sweet lady of course I have other items. Of course I have items of make, thoes I do not keep up front. Too many would be thieves would steal a pretty bauble of great value" Rashid rested his hands on the stained shirt that covered his slightly budging belly.
"Now, my most valued customer. Is there anything in particular you are looking for? I assure you I have or can get anything you desire to buy."

“Something special, unique. Something that’s a reason why I should stay here with you instead of going to another vendor.” Tailya doesn’t like the man, is it really that obvious? One should think so with the tone of voice she uses, rather condescending and all. Ah well, the dog’s a bitch.
She’s feeling lazy, she doesn’t like the man, but the man’s giving hints of something of interest, so she remains there and decides to list off various things she could possibly interested in. “Shiny.. I like shiny things, or pretty. But it needs to be practical. I don’t want nothing that’s gonna fall apart on me five streets down the road. I don’t want something that can break if I drop it, throw it, sit on it, have it bashed by something big, or if it’s eaten by something bigger. It needs to be durable.” One wonders what exactly the girl does with herself to get herself into those varying circumstances somewhat.
“Small. Has to be small. I don’t wanna be luggin’ around some stupid big thing, no matter how useful you wanna claim it is,” she pauses a moment before putting a hand out, “It needs to fit in this,” her palm evidently.
“Small, shiny, light, practical. Can you do that?” She looks at the icky grubby man with his rotten teeth and well, general ickiness. “Show me something with those qualities and maybe you’ll keep my custom.”
Tailya’s putting the man on the spot and still not being clear with what she wants, so nice of her. Really, she’s not fussed, she has money, she wants to spend it. Carrying money’s a pain, it’s all heavy and clunky and gets lost in small doses too easily.
A pendant necklace'd be nice. Depending what it looks like.

The lady's rude tone threw Rashid off his stride for a moment. Blinking, he turned and walked away, heading for the locked box he kept valuable jewelry in. Groaning quietly as he picked up the heavy box, Rashid carried it back to the counter. With a key that he produced from hidden pocket on his person he unlocked the box.
Rashid drew out six gold bangles. Delicate looking, the edges of the bangles were fluted.
"The six of them are sixty gold. I, of course, have them in silver but gold would look so much better with your complexion."
Next Rashid pulled out a small purple silk pouch. Out of it spilled a modest sized broach. clasped in a golden cage three small pearls rested, one white, one black and one pink. A fine chain was attached to the top of the cage.
"This item was once a lady's pretty bauble. I acquired it after she was excuted for adultry and plotting against her husband's life. This necklace will run you 425. I have a few other necklaces and chains if you do not like what I have displayed so far." Rashid closed the box for good measure. Never knew knew some thief with more guts and than brains would decide to try his hand.

There’s a bit of a tail twitch down by her legs as Tailya watches the man move away to get what she assumes to be the safe box. That or whatever other means of keeping the grubby storekeeper keeps his more valuable wares.
She eyes the bracelets, they’re not so bad.. but such thin looking things, she doesn’t trust that they’d take much in the way of a battering. His attempted sell just has her snort, no they don’t, they’d bring out the gold in her eyes over the glow of her skin, silly man.
Can’t say she cares much for them and her gaze is quickly turned to the new bauble. Well.. that’s okay.
Then there’s a price given and she scoffs. “I ain’t taking no trollop’s second hand goods for that price. There’s probably some broken family out there somewhere’s expecting to get it back some point.” Nope, not taking that.. even if it is really rather pretty.
A last glance and she looks to storekeeper once more. “What else?”
Really, the pendant had been nice, but she’s not to be spending that much money this soon. She would like to get something else while she’s here at the market. Not sure what, but something. So she’s actually got a price range.. oh well, she’ll work around it wont she?
She waits to see what else the man has to show from his precious glory box.

Rashid sighed to himself, this customer was most discerning. Opening the box once more he carefully placed the bangles back on their tray. The necklace went back into the silk bag and everything returned to the box.
Next Rashid drew out several gold chains. One, the links were so fine the chain seemed little more than a golden glimmer.
"This delicate looking beauty is a lot stronger than it appearers to be." Taking the ends in both hands Rashid gave the chain a good tug. One that should have broken the delicate chain.
"This chain is guaranteed to never break. Some of the finest craftsmanship to ever have reached my modest stall. I have a lovely glass pendant from Fallien that goes with the chain." Rashid drew out a oval of smoky colored glass, it was about the size of a apricot pit. At first glance it was a solid piece but on closer inspection the oval was actually filled with delicate filigree forming several images of desert creatures.
"Both the chain and the pendant are 300 gold, lady. I have other items that are much plainer if you desire an item that is more down to earth and unremarkable."

Have to comment! Ze cutest name, yessir! ^^
Tailya watches the store keeper return his goods to his box, wondering what he’s going to pull out next and if well, she had wanted something that was out before. Oh well, too late now.
Then there’s something new out and she’s looking over it. She’s sceptical as he goes to pull it apart and it resists, Tailya can honestly admit she’s surprised it doesn’t break. Still, it looks pretty weak and she doubts the man has the strength she has to break it.
“Guaranteed?” Now that gets her attention and there’s a quirk to the corner of her lips. “You guarantee what exactly?”
Most definitely more interested in what he has to offer now. Then he brings out the pendant and well, her eyes are caught on that little bit of glass. Okay, she wants that.
“What, are you trying to say something about me? You saying I need something plain to match my looks?” She snaps at the grotty little man. Eyes flash angrily and she’s looking down her nose at him.
Then a change of lines, “300 gold? Are you kidding? It’s pretty, but it ain’t that pretty. 210, not a coin more.” Of course it’ll be a coin more, likely a lot more, this is what bartering is all about. There’s no way she was going to settle for his starting price. You’re an idiot if you take a street vendor at face value, especially with the more pricey items. No, someone who’s been to market, who goes to market knows you barter! It’s part of the game you play, fun fun.

Sorry, I didn't catch that I used the wrong char.
Rashid once more was thrown by the lady's sudden swings in mood and tone. He raised a brow, silently thanking every god he knew of that he had never married.
"The chain is guaranteed that if by some chance it ever does break I will fix it free of charge. I always carry other chains if you that particular chain to be too delicate for your tastes." Rashid laid the delicate chain down and pulled over three others.
The first was of a small link still, the chain boasted of not one linking pair to make up the chain but three. The three links interlocked to form a spiraling chain. The second was a plain link chain. The third was made of long links. Each link was twisted into a infinity symbol.
"Each chain costs 50 gold. The pendant is 250 gold. 210 gold, my sweet lady surely you mean to rob me. I have to earn a living too." For a moment Rashid looked as hurt and downtrodden as a child denied of its sweets.
"Perhaps 280 gold would suit you better, my sweet lady?"

No matter. Still ze cuteness!
Tailya’s fickle, her mood, thoughts, feelings all bounce all over the place as she pleases. Really, it is quite a pain for those who have to deal with her, but well, she don’t care, it ain’t her problem after all.
That gold flecked gaze is once more caught up in shinies to look at as variations on the first chain are pulled out. The first’s too uh, bulky, ick. Second’s near on the same and the third.. well, kinda pretty but no, she likes the first still.
So eyes go back to the original gold chain, “Okay.. But ya better be believing me that I will track you down and find you and make sure that you do what you’re claiming right here and now.” Of course she means it, every last word, her tone of voice states as such perfectly.
Again, back to the bartering, “The chain’s 40, the pendant’s not even worth 200. I’ll give you 230 gold.”
Still unlikely to get even that low, but she’s not paying his offer. No amount of puppy dogging, pouty looks, big tear filled eyes, sad child like tones is gonna work on the bitch. Cuter males have tried and gotten nowhere. The vendor has no possible chance of applying this technique and getting anywhere what so ever with it.

Rashid noted the dismissal of the three chains in the sharp ever moving gaze of his lady customer.
"I assure you that my guarantee to fix the chain if by some fluke it broke is my word of honor. If I played customers unfair I myself would be banned from setting up shop in the bazaar." Rashid drew a startlingly white piece of cloth from a pocket and swiped the sweat from his brow.
"My sweet lady, shall we dispense with the useless go betweens? I'll accept 250 for the chain and pendant but no lower. Both items are too special to let go for bargain prices." Rashid frowned, as if the word bargain had a bad taste. Folding his hands, Rashid rested them on his slightly protruding stomach.

“Yeah well.. You wouldn’t be the first to tell tales of repair and then show no sign of following through,” Tailya fair on grumps at the man. Obviously she’s been cheated before.
The fact he’d be kicked out of the Bazaar for cheating her if he does, well that makes her feel better. Also it gives the wolf girl some nasty ideas around such notions, not a good thing.
A brow raises a moment as she watches the grubby vendor pull out the white cloth and wipe his brow. Gosh, he’s got more money than she originally thought, or he’s got some sort of charm. It’s hell trying to get that sort of perfection in cloth, and keep it that way.
No matter. A price is offered that is much more acceptable.
“250?” She makes a show of thinking on it, considering the price.. But well, she’d already accepted that in her head before her previous bid, so she’s not about to say no now.
“Okay, a cloth and oil to keep them shiny as well and you get your 250 gold. No more.” Well, maybe one or two pieces more for the extras if she has to.

Rashid nodded, pleased the bartering was over with. Padding away he quickly returned with a small bottle oil linseed oil and a clean, soft white cloth.
"Here we are sweet Lady. I'm afraid that for the oil I must charge you a few more gold. How does 10 gold sound, a most reasonable price, no? Would you prefer to wear your new bauble out of here or shall I place in the bag?" Rashid pulled out a small silk bag just big enough to hold the pendant and the necklace.
Fingering the smooth cloth he waited for her answer and her gold before acting.

“You’ll charge me for the bag wont you?” Still Tailya has no trust for the man and his business. Oh well, ‘least she’s actually buying something.
“Ten? For cheap oil?” There’s a grunt and she decides not to bicker the price. She’s getting bored, she wants the bauble, shiny necklace and well.. to leave.
Woo for the return of being fickle and the appropriate sudden mood changes to go along with as such!
“Fine. Just gimme the shinies and the cleaning stuff and I’ll give you the monies and we’re done. “
Blunt and to the point the girl takes the ‘borrowed’ pouch of coin she’s choosing to pay with and lays out the required amount of coin. Tail twitches behind her as coin after coin is laid out. She’s mindful of those around her, she’s not letting anyone come close enough to pilfer her gain while she’s still holding it, no sirree.
Finally the money’s laid out and she pushes it forward with one hand while putting the other up for her soon to be paid for necklace and pendant. “Mine.”
Charming. Really.

Threading the necklace through the pendant with a oddly deft movement. Rashid placed the necklace in the woman's waiting hand.
"Sweet lady, I do hope next time you come to the bazaar you'll remember to check my stall."
Thread complete. Tailya receives a gold chain, Fallien glass pendant. Tailya loses 260 gold for her voucher.
