Yomato Kimari
04-24-06, 10:25 PM
((I had 1223 EXP, and 1500 gold))

Name: His name is Yomato Kimari, named by his parents at a young age. He was mocked for having such a name at school (if you do not notice error in it, since I really wanted Yamato, and I am too lazy to change it.) Age: After spending two years wandering the depths of althanas alone, Yomato is now eighteen.

Race: Yomato is human, but he has potential to be more than one.

Class: He grew up in a family of rune mystics, who use symbols with their spirit to summon magic, demons, and spirits.

Description: Long dark brown hair held together by a string, his blue eyes are soft slightly set apart from another, and the boy's nose is as big as three fourths of an inch. He weighs 140 pounds, and has blue eyes. He wears a black kimono, and has a golden cross sitting on his chest at all times.

Main Persona: He is always ready for combat when needs be, and the once soft-spoken tone is replaced by a happy attitude. He tries to hide the pain by fighting, and after he learns that Sei is still alive he feels slightly better.

Second Persona: When Yomato lost his parents the teen began to talk to himself, until one day lit a house on fire, he was found cradling in the corner saying, "He told me to."

Third Persona: Never shows itself, but later becomes important. It has the voice of a girl, and speaks politely.

Weapon(s): He uses a mythril katana, the blade is two feet long, and has marks lining the hilt. The blade sits in a wooden sheath around the teen's waist, at all time. (The mythril katana is a spoil from a battle with one of Sei's old accounts) He also has a gold cross that connects to a chain around his neck, which he uses rarely. In his kimono, the boy carries pieces of paper with Japanese symbols written on the front of each piece, around ten ready.

Character Spells/Skills:

Paralyze: It is a paper spell that freezes his opponent in his steps for one post, and disappears when the spell ends.

Cross-of-Protection: Protects npcs from harm while Yomato fights and they cannot affect the battle. This spell last as long as Yomato is conscious and creates an alternate realm where the battle takes place, yet looks the same.

Rune of Sealing: Being the last of his family, Yomato lost the ability to use rune magic. His father with the last of his strength and made six runes on his boy's body. One is on his head, arms, and legs. With the final rune placed on the youth's body over his heart, Yomato's father chanted, and all of the runes except the one over his heart vanished. After this, Yomato could never use rune magic again.

History: As a boy, Yomato lives with his family, who travels the world of Althanas for years. On his second birthday, his mother falls ill, leaving the youth upset. His mother’s chest protrudes a tiny object from her shirt, a single cross hanging from a chain. Its gold metal shines in the light of the newly awaking sun. The boy cradles the golden object as if it is his mother, herself. A small feeling in his chest grew, like knives slicing into his heart.

"Son, you will always feel this pain, it is love, when you meet Uukan you will never be alone," she says softly to Yomato.

"But, mother, why are saying this," he asks his sickly mother.

"I have not the time left to tell you everything," her last few words.

"Mommy, wake up please," the boy cries fall to deaf ears.

Time passes, years flee from reality, and Yomato grew older. He is six, and they move into a house in Radasanth, when everything becomes a nightmare to the youth. His life turns upside down, since everyone in class mocks his name and says he is a witch. The youth was son of a Mystic and yet not evil, they are misunderstood in this time of age. The students pierce his heart with their hatred.

"Look at the baby," one kid, says.

"He even wears a dress," the second one replies.

"It is a kimono, not a dress," Yomato cries.

"Baby, baby, baby," All of kids say in unison.

In addition, in anger towards the kids, Yomato summons a creature that resembled the demons of old. The once peaceful town becomes a matchstick in the mid-night sky, burning almost endlessly. The sounds of upset villagers fill the night air, when the door slams shut, and Yomato's father begins to dab blood from his hand onto his son's body. Before he is able to finish the enchantment, the door breaks from the blows of the fists and wooden objects.

"We know you are in there, witch," one of the men says loudly.

"Now burn at the stake, nicely, like the rest of your evil kind," the second man proclaims almost as loud.

"Yomato, please do not hate mankind for their hatred and fear of your abilities. One day they will regret this moment," the father says quietly. "It is not their fault, now leave before you share my fate," the last thing Yomato heard his father say to him. Present day.
