Character Jobs

[Artifex Felicis]

I remember this thread from a longish time ago, and figured that it was a fun enough thing to ponder. The basic gist is what type of job would your character have if he was on modern day Earth?

For example, I would have probably pegged Leon as still doing something athletic with his life. He would probably end up owning a gym or a dojo of some sort in the city. Probably giving lessons and making enough to get by comfortably. That, or he would end up being a school teacher where he could work out for free at the school gym and still have a lot of fun with his life.

Komosatuo would be a Sushi resturant owner.

Tiberius would be a soldier.

Koran would be a spy.

Eireann would own and operate a world famous circus, which he would be the star of.

Gorath the Strong would be in that circus, and would also be a star.

And Bernard would be CEO of a big corperate company, which manufatures and distributes the small replaceable erasers for mechanical pensils.

Probably wind up being a Glaswegien rugby player, or be one of those guys that has a lot of cash but no discernable day, or night job. Would likely be a familiar face to the police after a few bar brawls though.

Of course, I'll have to learn how to strafe without nose-diving into the ground target first. Otherwise, I'll just send myself back to 1945 and fly around in modified Zeros. You know which ones I'm talking about. :p

Ki would likely be a police officer, can't think of anything else.

Lillian would probably be a librarian again, or move to something like a museum curator or university teacher in Physics and Biochemistry.

Xos, Xos would definatly be the Dean of a prestegous university somewhere.

Aiko would either be a dollcrafter, or a resident in the psycho ward.

Valanthe would be an environmentalist and have a job, probably as a park ranger.

Destrudo would be a superstar in the wwe.

Amaril would probably be a hermit out in some forest. Eventually some hunter, redneck or someone along those lines would shoot him. They'd claim to the rest of the world that they killed a vicious man-like monster, but the tale would be lost to the tabloids.

Kially? Probably in an orphanage somewhere making things squeal "Aww!".

Madison would end up being "the quiet one" at the office (a.k.a. the one to worry about bringing in various firearms on Casual Fridays), probably playing the role of secretary to one of the company V.I.P.s.

Elijah... Hmm... Comic book store or pawn shop owner/employee.

I can see Karuka being a tour guide somewhere, either that or a job where she could work with kids.

Anila would be that hot yet cold Asian chick that can kick ass and take names in action movies.

Sara would be in a hospital somewhere.

Seth (The_Archer) would have a cubicle job somewhere.

Syn is too apathetic for a job.

Siren would be a sexy lifeguard.

Lorenor=Probably a hit-man working for the Mafia.

Alberdyne Cormyr=Either running a martial arts Dojo of some sort, or working at a library doing research. He'd have some sort of scientific background probably. One of those three.

Khariss would be in jail or dead.

Huacamon would be in the Amazon. Possibly entertaining a school of piranha.

Elena would be a assassin.

Laurea would be a daycare owner.

Kahlina would be a full time student for the rest of her life.

Isa, well I can't see Isa as anything. Perhaps she would be a super bitchy trophy wife that wears the pants in the relationship.

Nephilium would be a lab assistant.

The unemployed guy who is always sitting on his Thunderbird with a pair of nunchaku in his back pocket, drinking beer in front of his house or the 7-11

Or just dead.

Damon Kaosi would probably have served in his country's armed forces, left after a tour of duty and entered into either politics or academia. If he were in politics, he'd probably end up the kind of politician who everyone says they want more politicians to be like because of his integrity, but always lose in Presidential Primaries.

Jame would either be a reality TV star, a trust fund baby who goes off the deep end Lindsay Lohan style or just one of those guys who relives his college days for the rest of his life.

Wraith would fight the Ghostbusters in a constant and epic struggle.

Lucien would probably be an annoying kid with any lack of interest in anything and a near constant need to touch himself. So, me.

Letho would probably be a Spetsnaz or some other form of kickass soldier. Myrhia would adopt a lot of orphaned children and raise them as her own.

Victor would be an amateur boxer, who never seems to get a chance to make a name for himself. He'd be the loser in a dusty gym that keeps boxing even when he's 40.

Rheawien would be a woman rights activist and a bitchy dyke in the first line of the Gay Pride parade.

Malagen would be a any-dirty-job-there-is dude that works for like a mobster or something.

Jared would be some kind of doctor, maybe a brain surgeon.

Séreméla would probably be like a stripper or something lol. no probably teaching some archery class at a college or something lol. Right now there's an archery class at my college it's cool.

Sok... no doubt one of those entrepreneur's who can't seem to stop making business's. He'd probably do some sort of martial art and at some point in his life, play soccer (or football for you crazy non-USians) professionally.

That, or be an Olympic pole-vaulter. What fun.
