FQ Style Quest

I'm going to be GMing a quest that is going to be in more of an FQ style.That means it will have a grand overarching plot. Either way, it will be a long, elaborate quest, and the thing is, I want everyone to be involved. This quest, unlike most of those on Althanas, is not going to be meant as a short 20 to 40 pager. It's not going to have just one or two people, but everyone on the forum is going to be invited.

There are going to be a few rules.

1) while everyone is welcome to join, please join logically. If there is an empty room in clear daylight, don't suddenly appear in the middle of the room. Make your character's entrance seem as natural as possible.
2) Players that do not post in a week will be bunnied, but only to remove them from the story in a logical means (most likely sent off on a side mission, from which they can come back into the story as they choose).
3) Players can leave at any time.

The only thing I have to wonder about, is would you guys prefer to have this thread sparced into parts, so that we can get EXP more frequently?

Featured Quest. They were very large moderator run quests that generally had huge impacts on what happened to a region. Everyone was welcome to join.

This one will be run by me. Currently, I'm not a moderator though I have the blessings of the regions writer to undertake this. Hence I called it FQ style, as opposed to a FQ.

Would you mind enlightening me? Or is this something akin to the Athylia Verse business?

is it something akin to Althylia's Verse. the main difference is the premise of an FQ isn't nearly as shoddy.

Basically, its a quest with a GM that characters can enter and exit any time, and will be somewhat impactful to Althanas. Also, the thread does not remain in Eluriand for the entire duration. However, you are welcome to be part of it only in Eluriand if that is what you wish.

It's not going to Corone. However, it could end up in Dethain, depending how the rest of the people involved take it.

Well there are going to be many twists along the way, somewhat altering the objectives of the players in the quest, but to start, this is what we're going to be doing.

Everyone is going to be at the Turlin school in Istien University, and we're going to be looking for who the Desolators are. Soon enough, we're going to find they are a group of Raiaeran elves, who would rather destroy Raiaera than see it "polluted" by other races.

Beyond that, I don't want to give away much.
