I was wondering, are the bonus bazaar credits actual credits, or just bonus gold that lasts for a month?

I take it you are referring to the (300) next to your gold amount, yes? Well~ As a matter of fact, many people have different take on this.

What I would prefer it being is to think of it as a voucher, a piece of paper that can be traded in for 300 gold pieces. You hand this to the merchants as you make your purchase and then the merchants will give you changes - if you don't use up the 300 in one go, they'll just give you another piece of paper denoting how much there is left.

Another take on this is that they are 300 gold coins that you can use. Some people just treat it that way, simply for ease of role-playing.
