Corvus is pretty cool and generally comes across as a sensible dude. I don't know much about his character, but tend to agree with his OOC posts. Oh and "he has a cool character and is really nice!!!", which is the only compliment certain people who want to raise their post count know how to make.

And two level sevens, some of the highest activity the site had ever seen, as well as the highest post, acquired not by the mass irritating practice of power posting, but through dedication to the site.

I think that's Manda. Manda's really cool and has a sweet imagination. The majority of her characters that I've seen are very original and intriguing. She's also really fun to talk to in small, nay, very small doses.

Cyrus has had a long history with Althanas. He not only has two characters in the Top Ten experience chart, which takes devotion toward writing. He also used to be a devoted member of the staff. Not to mention that he's developed a cool-head to deal with things instead of what I've seen him joke about as his hot-headed past.

Now he looks like he's on the way to a comeback with Cyrus and Iz after a hiatus, which is awesome.

EDIT: Also, I liked his battle against the guy (I think it was Cid or Sid) that took drugs to have a temporary ability boost.

I have to comment both Cyrus and Amaril.

Both of them were/are excellent moderators who deserve as much credit as Serriliant for being helpful. Cyrus in particualar I look up to for mod advice as he is the most balanced moderator I've seen. Amaril I haven't seen really in action, but I've heard great things about him and I don't doubt them.

Right, I don't know much about Corvus as a rper, so i'll focus on his character.

A true highlander, complete with beserker rage and bloodlust. I have to say I haven't seen that done often. While the whole bloodlust thing may be common, a Highlander with it simply reminds me of some very good stories and books. I think that's great.

I love that he has "Raw Animal Strength": I actually thought you were creative with that, making it as he grew stronger through excercises and the swinging of his blade rather than it being like my character, where he naturally grows stronger as his powers increase.

I've talked to the guy before even getting on Althanas; in fact, he and Dissinger were so cool and such great writers that they made me want to write here. Cyrus also blesses the rains down on Africa.

Having two level seven characters is amazing, but the amount of depth I've seen in Izvilvin had me drop my jaw, while his geomancer's strange mix of ruthlessness/aloofness is always interesting. He seems like the kind of all-purpose character who can always fit in most storylines, without losing a bit of his individuality. He is also cool and hot and makes me want to do inappropriate things to my poster of Johnny Depp.

Plus, we're in a quest together, and it's fun. Just wish I'll eventually do almost as well as he is right now! I kiss your buttocks, but they deserve it, as well as this highly adequate slap. <3

Ataraxis probably has the most sense of humor on this site^^ I always liked his twisted jokes and I really loved that citedel battle we had. Ataraxis was the one that made that quest so fun from the great skill to the fun powers of his characters^^

Seth Rahl is really good at multiple characters. I have so much trouble with having more than one that Ki's All that's left. He's also an extremely active member that does what he thinks best.

Reiko is one of the first people I ended up writing with. All the long long long way ago. Since then, he's also been here with me since then.

Nevertheless, he's had interesting chars throughout his tenure, my personal favorite still remaining to be Ki/Kit. As well, Ki's one of the few chars on Althanas who actually got pregnant from someone *cough* and from there one of the few to have kids. An interesting and very fun concept I personally think he did very well.

Reiko, as I've said before is one of my more favotire writers. In addition to making Ki entertaining, she also incorporated, from what I can gather, good knowledge of japenese myth to help shape Ki and make her more interesting. Very spiffy!

Keepin' the fuzzy spirit alive here on Althanas when Adventwings and Co. are too busy with this silly thing called "reality". I admire that his character isn't really built for combat, but somehow makes it so that combat itself flows relentlessly and much more interesting than a simple sword duel.

I wish to roleplay with him sometime with this character -- two fuzzies would be awesome! :)
