View Full Version : After Thine Preist Hath Fallen... He Will Arise Once More (Open)

Sri Laa
09-14-07, 10:54 AM
It was a new start for Sri Laa in a new city that was in a new land. Radasanth was much bigger and more diverse than Knife's Edge, which meant it was a good place for someone who wanted to be lost in a melting pot of other people's stories, deep seeded pain, unspeakable joy and everything in between... this was the place to be.

The former preist kept to himself when circumstances allowed for it. It had only been about two months since the tragedy happened back in Knife's Edge. A tragedy that involved his family and everything he believed in, being buried for eternity. Sri Laa's boots planted themselves heavily in the streets of Radasanth as he slowly walked, not really looking for anything. His burgundy, unbuttoned cloak draped behind him and flapped in the wind, often reveiling his black katana sheath underneath. His jet black shoulder length hair floated behind him as well, with some strands stretched across his face. To anyone who looked upon him, they only saw a cold entranced man.

Sri Laa looked around him as he saw people make their way past him on important business. What could possibly be so important? It felt strange to him that while his world stopped, the rest of it continued as if nothing happened... but could he blame them? The pain he felt is barley a mark left in histories timeline of all the pains felt... pains that even though they destroyed someone's world, he continued on.

This was the message he had been looking for since the incident in Knife's Edge... Even though he felt such pain and would for a long time, he had to continue because nothing would change what had already been done. Like the rest of the world he needed to move forward. The young human man lifted his head up and sucked in the fresh air. He was no longer a believer in anything divine, he felt it was up to man to save themselves. This would be his gift to a hurting world.

He stopped walking and took a moment to look around himself. Sri Laa began to scout around for anyone who looked in need of assistance. He would try to help anyone regardless of race or beliefs... but his help wa snot in the name of a god, it was in the spirit of mankind!
