Manly Quest!

[Ladies' Man]

Here’s the scheme: Gabriel and another guy are in a bar and the two are individually eying a common female speculatively. Upon realizing (somehow) that they share a goal, they decide to have a contest to see who’s the best man, that is, who gets to walk out with the lady. Their competition is thwarted, however, because the woman isn’t staying in that city/ town overnight and is instead heading somewhere else for reasons that can be decided by said character. The boys, with a considerable sum of money and their egos at stake, offer to accompany her as bodyguards—whether she needs them or not—and continue the game amid the turmoil and drama of group traveling.

That’s the plan. There will probably be some sort of fighting on the way, but the major aspect of this plot will be the character interaction. Oh, and it’s happening in Salvar.

Players needed:


One male whose character shows him to be inclined to such a competition and who has some talent in wooing.

One female, attractive, preferably somewhat feisty with talent in deflecting flirtatious men.


This isn’t a first-come, first-serve dealio, and if you have a history of not finishing quests I beg you to refrain. I’m not a Nazi when it comes to posting, but 3-4 days seems a reasonable frame of time, given no unexpectedly prohibiting circumstances. Call me naïve . . .

This sounds right up my alley. Elijah himself may not be very suave, but he's got his lunatic imaginary friend on his side. Nadia would be more than happy to help him out in the quest for the girl.

This actually seems like alot of fun. I'll toss my application in. Josh is pretty good at getting with the ladies (for an example of that, check out the first post of Sex Drugs and Violence), and pretty competitive. 3-4 days wouldn't be a problem for me.

Given the silliness of this quest, I would mind joining it. Seems pretty fun. I should be able to keep up with posting with three people as well. Though weekends may be a little tough.

If you're willing to wait for him to get through the approvals process, I have a guy character that I would be willing to put up. He'd be the type to be the courteous flirt, but a flirt all the same. ^_^ If you're willing to wait a couple days (at most) I'll put him up. I've been putting it off for a lack of ideas to get him started with.

Also on a second thought, Cassy would fit this better than Jasmine anyway. So only Cassy (username Cassandra) should still be in your head if you decided to postpone this.

And no pressure for the 3-4 day limit. I'm a terrible hypocrite and I'd feel ashamed if I were to nag anybody else about not posting. Post when you have time and don't worry about following a prescribed plot. The outline was intentionally vague so that the development of the story could suit the character's involved, so don't stress about stuff. This is, after all, for FUN . . .
