As for any manga turned anime, I'll stick with the manga. It's cheaper in the long run and takes up less of my time. This goes double for Naruto.

Good point. Read some episode synosises, I guess some of the seven die, THAT MAKES ME SAD :( There was so much good character development there that you cant even tell who is gonna die....
