Althanas' second Feature Quest has been unveiled!

In the near future, more and more information on the FQ will be revealed. It is entitled "To Rule All Flesh" and is set to have profound effects on the entire world of Althanas. Nearly every character in the world will be able to reach out and feel -- or even feed -- the impact of this event.

Before "To Rule All Flesh" begins, however, we want to hear from you. Do you intend to take part in this Feature Quest? Why or why not? If you have any feelings or comments on the FQ, feel free to voice them here. Thanks!

Yes. As to why, Dan isn't that much involved with the whole of the Althanian storyline, and for nostalgia's stake; it'll inevitably bring back memories of the first FQ.

i haven't decided yet...primarily because I don't know if it has anything to interest me enough to participate yet. I'll make a decision when more information about it has been revealed.

I am uncertain as of yet, but seeing how I am simply a lowly level 0 (as are all my other accounts) I doubt I would be able to help much, if at all.

I'll be involving Krugor in this, without a doubt. He's been aching to show the world just what he can do. I just hope this thing doesn't die prematurely like the last FQ I was in...

I'm interested in participating, if not only to put my recent activity to good use, but also to get my character a little more involved in the world surrounding him.

I'm so amped for this I applied for GM. --laughs.-- I've been robbed of my chances to finish big things in the past and this is a good opportunity to make up for that. I'm putting all 3 of my Characters in this event somehow. I definitely want Lorenor and Alberdyne to be a big part of the Althanas storyline itself. With Lorenor this will be a big boost to his infamy.

Definitely. I actually have a vague idea from the powers that be of what this FQ entails.

My character cannot remain idle under the circumstances. ;)

Don't let level stop you. Level won't affect how much of an influence your character can have on the story.

Not sure yet. I mean, I was told I need to by a couple of people... but as of yet, haven't seen much to interest me. Plus, I've never seen anything grand and amazing NOT flop on Althanas.

I'm not entirely sure. I've been very busy as of late, and on top of that the computer I've used for the majority of my writing is busted, which is what contributed to my lack of participation in the Gisela. This alone is making me a bit hesitant to join anything else that I'm not entirely sure I can fully commit to without reliable tools, time, and a neutral environment to write in. Either way, I'm going to enjoy reading this, and I'd like more then anything to bring some of the concepts I've developed for Saxon to the fore front for this quest for history's sake. Good luck and have fun to everyone participating, hopefully everything on my end will reach a pang of normalcy so I can hop in later on.

I think I'm a GM by default, since will be running most of Alerar's part in the story. Either way I will be running a quest or numerous quests concurrent and relating to the FQ as well.

Anyway, I am as of yet undecided do to the fact that if I feel pressured to meet a deadline my writing usually goes squish. Buuut I probably will anyway. I went to aplly to be a GM today and as soon as I opened the thread it was like " Applications closed! Thank you! " and I was like " You're not welcome. "

Seeing the option for freestyle is making me drool. Provided I can come up with a storyline, I'm sure I can grundge up a few people and give it a shot. Yeah, after reading up on it more, I realized that. I also found one other problem... Most my Characters are already in quests. I don't want to pull any out either. So I'm not sure how many I will actually be using in quests, but I can guarantee at least one.

Oh, and by the way, I find it Ironic that Karla is in Salvar and Krista is in Raiaera right now, Especially since those are the two locations of part 1 of the featured quest. LOL. see you guys when the quest starts.

You won't have to pull out of quests outside of the FQ to play in the FQ. The liquid time rule only applies in-house, that is to say, you could be in as many threads as you like outside the FQ, but within the FQ you could only be in one at a time.

I decided that naw, i'm not gonna participate. I'd rather focus on my characters' own histories and crap than actually have them try to make history.

I don't think My character has yet beeen defined good enough. desides I am still a little premature on this so... I don't want to get involved in something I may not be able to handle... BUT I have to admit that the idea of participation of a Mass quest is rather exiting.

I have to say, the incentives do interest me though. Double exp? A treasure for a level 0 nub such as myself, and more gold means I can afford another piece of Devil Armor.

Seth -- check out the recruitment areas in the FQ forums and the RPC, I know there are some privately generated non-MQ quests where you could be of service. Also check out the forums themselves to see if anyone is free-forming a quest that might fit one of your characters' skill sets or interests -- PM the starters of such quests directly to see if there is interest.

Or check out the storylines of the overall threads and start your own quest -- there's lots of ways to get involved and work your own storyline into the rest of things, and luckily this time it's not as contingent on mod activity as it was during the AC. And this time, too, characters seem to know more about the limits of level and the power of certain NPCs -- I haven't had to shatter anyone's spine yet.

I plan on continuing my solo very very shortly, I've just got some essays to write and work has picked up. Ill timing for things to happen in life, really.

I was planning on integrating more of the Bladewraiths into the mix of the storyline. Maybe they can become some special ops force or something for one of the sides, but it'll defenitely be for self interest purposes only.

I'll check out the other stuff and see if I can fit Leigh or Beniiro in, I already have Ifrit in enough crap.
