Her ditsy attitude can at times being mistaken for fearlessness or stupidity depending on the situation.
Appearance: Like all Fae, Lasair is short in stature. Her figure it petite and her curves are very slight, giving her nowhere near the voluptuous body a lot of humans possess. She at times hates her small chest and little hips, wishing she could have the curves she’d seen on the few elves and humans she’s observed in her life. Her hair is kept long and usually pulled back in a series of intricate braids though she does at times let it fall freely down her back. Her skin is naturally pale though it has a slight shimmering quality to it that makes it looked sun kissed and covered in many thousands of tiny sparkles. Her ears are slightly pointed though not as prominent as elves.
Lasair usually wears a simple dress that hugs her body to get the most out of her simple curves. The colours of the dress can be anything from a dark red, to black to purple and even white. The back of the dress is always low cut though, to give her wings plenty of movement. Her wings are lined with black along the outside and inside forming an intricate pattern similar to that of a butterfly's wings. The space in between is filled with a clear membrane that shimmers the colours of the rainbow when light hits it. The membrane itself looks extremely fragile and brittle, but they are stronger than they appear. The blood of a Fae looks like quicksilver and is teeming with magical properties.
Skills:
Synthesizing: As the owner of the Synthesis Shop, Lasair naturally has the ability to synthesize materials together. In fact, she created this new form of magic and alchemy. It involves combining two or more different materials together to make something new. Total mass cannot be altered and the new item almost always has at least one quality of every material involved in the process.
Enchanting: Lasair has limited skill in enchanting things. She only uses this to give inanimate objects commands and actions. Her plushie of Tristram for example has been enchanted to act like him in battle. To enchant something with the personality and actions the plushie is intimating, Lasair needs something from that person. Personal items worn for many years work, but a lock of hair or blood is better.
Crystal Manipulation: Like all Fae, Lasair learned how to manipulate crystals from a young age. However, due to her interest in the combination of materials as opposed to the manipulation of them she never studied too greatly into this form of magic. Her skill is below average, leaving her able to craft beautiful pieces of art with very weak materials. She can only manipulate crystals with a ranking of 3 or less.

Psychic: Many Fae have psychic abilities and though Lasair has been trying for many years, most of her abilities are still dormant. It requires much training that she simply does not have the patience for at the moment. So her abilities run rampant in her mind and she finds herself having random visions of both the future and the past at unexpected times. Many of them come when she is sleeping, however there have been a few times they have occurred while awake. Visions of the future must always be interpreted carefully because they are only showing the person one possible outcome from the many. Actions taken could both ensure and stop the oncoming event.
Link: Many cultures believe that twins have a certain link with each other and Aileen and Lasair are no different. They have experimented with their link many times and have almost come to the point where they can talk to one another through it. At the moment though, intense feelings are what mostly pass through their link. Should one of them be in danger or pain the other will know.
Flying: Like all Fae, Lasair has her very own set of wings. These wings look almost exactly like a butterfly’s wings except for the fact that the colour parts of replaced by a translucent material that shimmers the colours of the rainbow whenever light hits it. This thin membrane looks rather fragile, but it is in fact about as strong as leather and really needs to be. The shimmering quality of the wings is given to them by the blood that runs through them, and Fae can very easily bleed to death should their wings become injured. In her normal state, Lasair can fly at about 1.5 times the normal speed of a human.
Shrink! Many Fae use this ability to flee from situations where they think their life is in danger. As Fae are rather weak and fragile, they all learn to use this spell from the time they are young. It shrinks down their body and anything on it to roughly 6-8 inches in height. This ability can also be triggered instinctually when a Fae thinks they’re in danger or are suddenly scared. When in Shrink form, Lasair can fly at 2 times the speed of a normal human. Also, when flying in this mode she tends to glow and almost look like a very large firefly.

Tristram Plushie: A plushie made in the form of her closest friend, Tristram, a Draconian. The plushie is approximately 8” and looks exactly like the Draconian only much cuter, not that she would ever call Tristram cute. It is of a simple design made carefully and with much detail. The skin is a tanned colour but the shoulders are covered in dark blue scales. A pair of functioning wings adorn his back, also covered in the same blue scales. The plushie wears a black leather vest and black leather pants and it carries a spear in its hand. Most of the plushie is made from cotton and stuffed with cotton balls. Inside is a small piece of cloth stained with Tristram’s blood used to enchant the plushie and keep it ‘alive’.
Armour: The leather covering the plushie provides minimal protection but like the Draconians, the scales are as strong as iron and the plushie has them along its wings, shoulders and thighs.
Weapon: The Tristram plushie carries an 8” spear made from Livio and Steel for the head.

· Tristram can fly twice the speed of a normal human.
· Can summon and control fire. This is in relation to his size, everything summoned will be relatively small.

She grew up in Donnalaich though frequently visited Suthainn in her youth, where she met her best friend Tristram, a Draconian warrior. Though her twin sister Aileen was rather frightened of Tristram at first, Lasair was not and quickly befriended the Draconian with her caring and fearless nature. The three of them got into plenty of trouble both in Suthainn and in Donnalaich when Tristram would come and visit. There was even the one time they snuck into the Ceann Cath’s home just to prove how brave they were.
As Lasair grew older she began to show interest in combining items together to create something new and unique instead of manipulating crystals like everyone else. Her friends and family supported her experiments and through many years of trial and error she was finally able to stabilize the magic. Though some synthesis still fail from time to time it is more due to the items not being compatible than any kind of failure on her behalf, as she has learned.
At 50, Aileen and Lasair inherited the Crystal Manipulation Shop from their parents, who decided it was time to retire. Though Lasair enjoyed running the shop with her sister, she was not as skilled in manipulating crystals and could only use the weaker crystals, which break easier and not many people bought them. So Lasair began selling her synthesis items out of the crystal manipulation shop. Seeing the interest in the items, she soon purchased the empty store next to the shop and set up her own Synthesizing store. The two shops are actually connected by a small bridge on the second story.
For quite a few years now, Lasair has run the shop though recently she has decided to go out and explore more of Althanas. Tristram was uncomfortable with this decision, especially when she said she was going by herself and he insisted she learn how to fight. But she refused and as a joke created a plushie version of her friend to protect herself; her only weapon. She has yet to show Tristram the doll.

However as Lasair normally wears her hair in braids, Aileen doesn’t bother and simply lets is hang down her back. Aileen also has flecks of black around her iris while Lasair’s eyes are pure gold. Other than that, the two of them look exactly the same.

Appearance: Tristram is extremely tall for normal standards, though actually only average height in Draconian standards. There are many Draconians who are a lot taller than he is and it does tend to get on his nerves from time to time as he is underestimated because of it. Tristram has many dragon characteristic found throughout his body, including his wings. These can fold in extremely close to his back, making them to appear to be nothing more than a scrunched up cloak. The wings are made of bone, membrane and covered with thick scales along the outside. All of Tristram’s scales are the same Dark Blue as his hair and he has them on his shoulders spreading half way down his upper arm, down his back to his wings and on his thighs as well. Though he normally wears black leather pants so one can’t see the scales on his thighs.
