Name: Monica the Forgotten
Alias: Monica
Race: Neko
Alignment: Neutral Good… or something like that
Age: 21
Apparent Age: 17-19
Gender: Female
Hair color: White
Eye color: Hazel
Appearance: Monica is a pretty girl, if short. She hardly breaks five feet tall, and weighs a feather over 105 pounds. Her white hair is streaked with silver, and the large cat-like ears set on top of her head are tipped with a deep blue-grey halfway up. Her outfit is comprised of modest clothes, deep olive with dull gold details on both her blouse and skirt. <Image (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v400/tiger80272/sadcatwhitegirl.jpg)>

Attitude/Personality:

Monica is generally a happy-go-lucky kind of girl. She always wants to see the fun or brighter side of things, even when there may not be one. Randomly compulsive when her more feline side takes over, she times gets into trouble because she is bored. She does know how to get serious, even though she has a bit of a sharp tongue, but insulting her enough will show a rather cold side of her. Literally.

Strengths:

Nimble – Because of her feline heritage, Monica can move her small frame in rather intricate ways that only a cat would be able to accomplish.

Agile – Feline genes have given her the ability to outrun an average human with some ease. She can easily run twice as fast as a human.

Weaknesses:

Catnip – She’s a cat, catnip is her greatest weakness. The minty goodness will instantly captivate her and cause her to lose any focus she might have had. Try to take it away, however, and you will be met with claws and teeth.

Frail body – Any bludgeoning strike will hurt her more than it would hurt the average human.

Weak – She’s built for speed, not strength.

Lightning/Fire weakness – Magical fire or magical lightning will both deal increased damage to her, though the natural equivalents don’t really bother her.

Abilities:

Close-Quarters Combat: A self-styled bit of martial skill mixed with her natural weapons and glove-blades. Effective punches, kicks, slashes, and stabs combine to form a decent offensive, but it is still rather exploitable.

Cold: Monica can decrease the temperature of her claws to the point where they can leave trails of frost in the air. Naturally, this makes any of her strikes that connect with flesh hurt a lot more. Her skin can also lower in temperature, but not nearly enough to cause any harm. She is beginning to manifest an affinity for creating icicles in the air, but the icicles she produces are rather useless in a fight. (It works wonders for cooling down soup that is too hot to drink right away, though.)

"Springs-for-legs" - Monica can propel herself through the air as though she was launched from a catapult. She can jump twice as high and twice as far as an average person.

Equipment:

Cyber-gloves: A pair of gloves that Monica wears at all times. A few “special” enhancements have been made to them, namely the fact that when she extends her natural claws, six-inch blades form at the tip of her fingers. The gloves have steel plating that covers the back of her hands and her forearms along with a sleeve that keeps her upper arm area warm in cold climates.

History:

Monica's history is clouded in darkness, fear, persecution, and is something she does not willingly divulge to just anyone. The small pieces she does talk about are the few happy memories she has, of her mother when she was younger. Everything else is simply an impenetrable black sheet that hides what really happened to make her who she is.

It had to be a dream; there was no other way to explain it. One day, she went to sleep in her normal bed, the next, she was walking to a "Tournament of Legends" with someone she had tried to steal a pear from the night before. Ebivoulya was his name, and what a beast of a man he was. A bit of a demon, too, but that was beside the point. Somehow, they managed to make it to round three, but they were barely defeated by a pair even more monstrous than she and her partner turned out to be. Somehow, in this new world, her latent abilities were brought to their full fruition. When she went to sleep again on her newfound friend's shoulders on the way "home", she woke up back in her normal bed with her pitiful strength. Since she was fresh from a tournament fight, and quite bored with doing nothing, she signed up for a battle at the famed "Dajas Pagoda"...
