Bullet Witch

I would like to make a note that while this is influenced and inspired by the game called Bullet Witch for the Xbox 360, this character is an original idea of mine and is in no way trying to emulate the game.

"Dammit you fucking demon!" said Leigh Tyrfing as she stood defiantly below the towering form of a slavering beast with burning scales and eyes as red as hell itself. She was clutching her right arm in pain as blood oozed from a large gash in it, splattering upon the ground sickeningly. The demon only glowered in triumph as it licked its second set of fangs greedily, hoping to slaugher this young defiant woman and then consume her remains. "That was my good arm!" she screamed in only anger at the monster, with no trace of fear at all.
This pissed the giant monster off even more. Fear made the victim even more tasty. Then it grinned. It would teach this woman some fear, oh yes it would.
It patted it's stomach. "Hey woman..." the monster spoke from its first set of fangs. "Wouldn't you like to become a part of me? I promise it'll be painless....mostly....." the thing cackled as another gaping maw opened in its stomach, filled with tongues and fangs.
Suddenly the woman grinned and started laughing hysterically. The monster hesitated. "Why the hell are you laughing??" It roared at her from all 3 mouths. "Your about to be eaten, why?"
"Because..." said the young woman with a wicked but beautiful smile as she knelt down on the ground with one knee. "...you just revealed your weak spot." And with that she bolted forward in a sprinter's run, right towards the open set of fangs set in the stomach. However, she stopped about 5 feet away from the open maw and reached above her with one lace-gloved hand. "I call upon thee, Heresy..." She said in a voice laced with ancient witchcraft, and in her hand a giant gun warped from darkness and appeared in it. It was huge, being at least 5' long, and along the barrel was ancient designs of witchcraft and power not known to the realm of mortal man. At the end of the barrel was three large blades that extended outwards like spears, and the grip of the gun was slighted so that not only was this a huge long-range weapon but could also be used as a deadly close-ranged weapon.
"Witch! Your a Witch!" The demon exclaimed in both fear and fury, and swung one large claw at the woman. However ,she turned around just in time and swung her weapon with both hands at the arm with the claw, and the beast cried out as her razor sharp blades cut through both skin and bone, severing the arm and sending it flying. Without stopping in momentum Leigh swung the barrel of the gun at the center of the beast and pulled the trigger of the gun, and a powerful shot blew straight through the beast.
"RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!!!!!!!!!!"The demon screamed, and the mere force of the shot forced it back a couple steps. "DAMN YOU TO HELL YOU WITCH!!!!"It screamed, and then from its second mouth it began gathering energy for a powerful demonic blast. A second later it loosed the blast from the mouth, sending a wave of destructive energy at the calm Witch.
"Pfft, you call that an attack?" She sneered as the looming blast came her way. She hefted her giant gun at the blast and closed her eyes as she began chanting and running her other hand down the length of the giant gun. "When the moon sets and the sky falls...bring unto me darkness." She spoke the words calmly even though destruction was heading towards her at incredible force. Then she opened her eyes, and they shone with an intense blue. "I call upon thee, OBLIVION!"And a giant beam of darkness blasted from her gun and through the demon's own attack, and the demon had barely enough time to contemplate what a Witch would have tasted like when its head was blown clean off by the blast.
The body stood still for a moment then it too toppled to the ground with a sickening THUNK! The impact caused alot of dust and grass to be thrown up, obscuring any view of both the Witch and the body.
When the dust settled though, the body was gone, dissapearing into the wind particle by particle. And the Witch stood still there, but her giant weapon was gone. Leigh sighed and brushed off her black outfit, then reached into a pocket and took out a cell phone. She hit a number on the phone, then placed one hand on her hips as she heard a message machine come up.
"Listen, its me Leigh. I took care of the demon here, but i'll need a clean-up crew for the mess it caused. Geez, what a bother." Leigh sighed dramatically. The truth was she just didn't want to clean it up herself. "Anyways, i'll be back at headquarters in a few days, I expect to get something good out of this this time." And with that she hung up the phone and placed it back in her pocket. She began walking away from the grassy clearing when she felt more blood ooze out of her wound. "Shit," she swore, but then touched the gash with one finger and said in that voice laced with Witchcraft, "Heal your servant...". Immediately her wound was engulfed in a strange red energy, and the wound was closed and healed, like it had never existed in the first place.
Leigh sighed. She never had been good with the whole healing thing. Usually she let other wictches do that for her at headquaters, but in this case it was necessary.
As she walked away, a sound stopped her. She turned to find another young woman in a black cloak with her face covered by the hood. The two stood there silently for a bit, and Leigh could feel the other's eyes on her just as she was examining the other.
Finnaly the woman spoke. "Your name is Leigh Tyrfing, correct?" The voice held power in it, and suddenly Leigh was very wary of the newcomer. "Yes it is. What does it mean to you?" Leigh snapped.
She saw the other woman's smile and felt chills down her spine. Was she another Witch? "Oh, I simply wish to see if the legends about you are true. That you are the strongest witch, at least attackwise, on Earth." The woman spoke conversationally, but underlying that was an arrogance that sent Leigh's temper aflare.
"What, are you itching to find out?" the Witch snapped again, and held her hand out. This time the giant gun came without the words being spoken, and Leight twirled it around expertly before pointing the bladed barrel at the cloaked woman. "Cause I'm willing, if you are."
The woman only unfolded her arms. "Oh, i'm willing. That is, if you can hit me of course."
Something snapped in Leigh, and she immediately pulled the trigger as soon as the words left the woman's mouth. Another powerful bullet shot from the gun and at the woman, and for a moment it seemed Leigh had won.
But then the tree 30 yards behind her exploded.
Leigh blinked. Had she missed? She refocused her vision and saw that the woman was still standing there with that same stupid smile on her lips. Dammit! Leigh fired twice more, but still the bullets seemed to be not hitting their target. What the hell was going on?
Leigh pulled the trigger again but got nothing but a blank. "Heh, seems like your out of ammo." Said the lady, and she folded her cloaked arms across her breasts again.
Leigh sneered at the woman. "Thats what you think." Again she ran her hand down the length of the barrel, and she spoke in witchcraft again. "Reload,"She said quietly, and suddenly she heard a clicking sound as the gun was refilled with bullets.
"Oh, so you can conjure your own ammo? How useful." The woman commentated.
"Oh shut up you bitch." Leigh snarled and dashed forth, the three blades pressed forth to impale the woman upon them. However, suddenly she muttered, "Dissapearence of Soul"and Leigh's blade went through nothing but air.
"Dammit!" Leigh swore, and looked around wildly for her opponent. "Where'd she g--" She was interrupted when something hard and swift hit her in the back of the head, and she was knocked into unconciousness. The last thing she heard was the woman's voice mockingly saying, "Ah you dissapoint me. Maybe in Althanas you'll get stronger...either that or killed...." And laughter followed Leigh into the darkness.

The next thing Leigh knew she was bruised and hurting all over as she awoke in a grassy field. "Where...where the fuck am I?" She cursed to herself as she picked herself up off the floor. "That stupid bitch, pulling that sneaky crap like that...I ought to have used Oblivion in the first place..." She muttered this as she brushed herself off. "And where is she, anyways?" Leigh looked around but the strange woman was nowhere to be found.
She started to walk when she felt the aches and pains in her body really come to be. "Ah dammit, not again..." she groaned, and touched two fingers to her forehead before speaking in Witchcraft again. "Heal your dark servant"She spoke again.
Nothing happened.
She frowned, and tried again. And again, nothing happened. "Goddamit why aren't you working??" she screamed at herself, and then spoke the simplest healing spell she knew. "Self heal"She spoke, and immediately her smaller injuries healed up. But even after that she felt a decrease in her magic power, and she groaned both inwardly and out loud. She mentally checked her magical defenses for something, and within moments she found what she was looking for:
She was sealed by a powerful spell, one that could take decades to unravel. Not only was she as weak as when she first became a witch, but...oh no...
Having to confirm her fears, she raised her silken-clad arm in the air and called forth her weapon's name. It appeared but...it had turned into a pistol crossbow.
"What...the...FUCK?!" she screamed in frustration, and threw her newly transformed weapon to the ground in disgust. "I work my ASS of for 50 YEARS to get to that point, and THIS IS WHAT I GET???" she shook a fist at the sky. "Gee, thanks God, you really know how to make my life a living hell, don't you?"
There was no reply. Not that she expected any. She looked at her weapon one last time in disgust before picking it up, but then heard somthing approaching behind her. She turned to find a snarling, rabid wolf approaching her slowly, and looking into its eyes gave her the info she needed; it wouldn't stop until one of them were dead.
Leigh looked at the crossbow/pistol in her hand and shrugged. "Well, at least its better than nothing at all, eh old friend?" she talked conversationally to her weapon. She waved a hand over the crossbow, and immediately four 5-inch crossbow bolts appeared, locked and loaded, ready to fire.
The wolf lunged for her throat, and she immediately turned and fired without thinking. The bolt sped through the air like a buzzing wasp and embedded itself in the throat of the beast, killing it instantly and sending it tumbling to the floor.
The Witch looked at her weapon with newfound admiration, and shrugged as she raised her weapon up and a small dimensional hole engulfed it, making it dissapear from this world once again. "Well, I might as well go and see where in hell I am..." she said. "If this is even hell." And with that she strode off with her black coat flowing out behind her, leaving the corpse of the dead wolf to rot in the bright sun.
That was simply the prolouge of how Leigh Tyrfing came to Althanas. My character starts sometime after all of this, as she has explored a little of the world and gotten a hang of her meager abilities as they are.
Name: Leigh Tyrfing, although she goes under the title "The Bullet Witch" as she traverses Althanas.
Age: Stuck forever at the age of 27, when she first became a Witch. She is over 70 years old chronologically and she cannot die of old age.
Race: Immortal Witch -- a group of women who underwent procedures to both their souls and their bodies to become immortal and have eternal youth. However they can still die like any other person, although they are much harder to kill.
Hair Color: Black as can be.
Eye Color: An intense blue.
Height:5'10"
Weight:120 lbs
Occupation:Leigh is currently working as a bounty hunter, but has also accepted work for Devil Hunting as that was what she did when she lived on (Alt.) Earth.
Personality:Leigh is a very straightforward and free-thinking woman. She often has problems with authority because of her roguish attitude and her unwillingness to follow orders, and she has often been called several profane names due to her attitude and independent streak. However, deep down she has a caring heart and has a very just system of right and wrong. She is merciless in battle, never letting her opponent gain the upper ground or advantage, not letting them catch a breath.
Appearence:To others she appears as a beautiful head strong woman with pale skin, dark, long hair and shockingly blue eyes. She wears little and exposes her some parts of her that often tempt men into trying to obtain her, to their own demise. Her outfit is a black corset with a v-neck collar and long black silken gloves cover her arms up to almost her shoulders. The corset covers the upper half of a strapless black dress, whereas the bottom flows out like a coat as it spilts in the front to reveal she wears black shorts as well. ((See picture at top of thread for further clarification on her appereance.))
History:Leigh lived for 27 years on Alt. Earth, a version of the Earth we know now. On this parallel dimension demons vampires and other supernatural beings are regualar occurences, and if they cause too much trouble the I.W.'s take care of them. Leigh became a I.W. at the age of 27 when her mother was killed in action by a demon, and she swore to her self that even if she died in the end she would slay every demon she came across. And this she did, becoming both infamous and famous with several different countries. She became known as "The Bullet Witch" for her preferences to guns rather than melee weapons, and soon enough she gained Heresy, a powerful weapon that is bonded not only to her mentally but also spiritually. Her connection with the weapon is so strong that the I.W.'s created a special dimensional space for her weapon to place it when she wasn't using it, rather than carry it all the time.
And so she fought and fought battle after battle until she met her match with a mysterious woman who knocked her unconcious and then locked her powers and her weapon's true form away. While this isn't permanent, it lasts over decades is what she believes, and while she can chip away at it it will still take a long time. Thus she has been working on improving her now meager ablities and powers on Althanas, and never tires of her hunt for Devils and Demons.
Skills/Ablities:
Marksmanship: Its about average at this time. She prefers her long range weapon more than anything else and uses it almost all the time, so this is the one skill that is most likely to upgrade the fastest.
Basic Martial Arts Skills and Acrobatics:In regards to martial arts skills, she can kick and punch but other than that she barely knows any hand to hand combat, as she prefers her Heresy weapon. If forced to, however, she will use her martial arts ablities to the max. In regards to Acrobatics, she is very light on her feet and is able to perform most acrobatics with ease, but not if combined with hand-to-hand combat.
Enhanced Strength and Speed:As a I.W. her body was genetically enhanced slightly when she underwent the change. As a result, she has 1.5x the strength of a normal human and can move at 1.3x that of of a normal human as well. Her strength was mostly used to wield Heresy (true form), not in close range combat, although it is applicable.
Witchcraft:
Level 0: As a "Witch", she was taught witchcraft back when she first joined. While she may have been super-strong before, the enchantment upon her prevents her from from accessing those spells. However, she still can perform some simple witchcraft and her constantly hacking at the barrier holding her back is allowing some of her former glory.
The spells she knows at Level 0:
Heal Self: Calls upon the power of darkness to heal some small wounds. This revolves around her chanting out the magic spell at first, and this may leave her open to atack.(Level 0)
Reload: This spell is the very first one she learned and she mastered it back on Alt. Earth. However it has slightly weakened with the transfer, and she is only able to conjure 4 bullets (crossbow bolts) at a time. This is a simple spell that only affects her crossbow/pistol Heresy, i.e. if she tried to reload an empty machine gun she wouldn't be able to. (Level 0)
Orb of Darkness: Summons a 3'f by 3' orb of pure darknees to sorround opponent, thus obscuring their vision unless they have ultravision or infravision.. However this spell only lasts for a few seconds and can only be used once a day at this time. (Level 0)
Equipment: Heresy: Pistol/Crossbow form: Her weaon turned into a semi-automatic pistol crossbow. The bow is made out of steel but the bolts are of the same substance or equal to iron. Also Heresy is unsellable and is considered a potentially useless pieces of junk in anyone's hands other than Leigh's.

Familiars:At one time she may have had one, but at this time she does not possess any.
Please try to ignore spelling/grammar mistakes as I wrote this as I was half asleep. Lol thank you.
