Name: Gaelic “Ruther” Pontius

Age: 160

Race: Elven

Hair Color: Dirty Blonde

Eye Color: Emerald

Height: 6”9’

Weight: 143 pounds

Occupation: Used to be a shepherd, but became a ranger later. Eventually, he settled on traveling.

Personality: Gaelic thinks of himself as a fool, wretched, and an idiot. All of the mistakes he has made him frustrated to his conscious. Gaelic is very considerate to all people he sees, whether enemies, opposite faction, or of his own genetics. Gaelic has grown to be one of the more friendly people in the world. He is rarely hostile except in few situations. Should he ever have to harm a living creature, he would try to do it in a controlled setting. He almost constrains himself in hurting others. Besides, Gaelic is not the strongest turnip in the bunch.

Appearance: Gaelic has blonde hair with dark streaks of black, and his green eyes always give someone a hearty happiness inside. Although young (for an elf), he is taller than the above average. He wears normal clothes, the kind a young elven boy would wear, such as things made of leather and cloth for quicker mobility. Gaelic wears simple sandals made of leather, and from the goats on his old farm he has some wool here and there, mainly because he supports a wool vest at almost all times. It has a symbolic nature of his ranch.

History: Gaelic was born at his ranch. He founded it himself, as his village of Babylon, as the “Holy One,” raised him but soon a malice priest accused Gaelic of witchcraft. Gaelic’s parents fought against the case, but unfortunately Gaelic was rendered guilty and sent out into the local mountain range to die a long and painful death. Gaelic, being of high intelligence because of his high-class university, was able to stay alive and tame three goats to stay with him in the mountains. He soon founded a ranch, with a small cave for shelter, in the winter he slept with his wooly friends. When he located a horse, he captured it and used it for transportation. Out in the wilderness he gained many tricks and trades such as grass whistling for herding goats, fire making, befriending animals, and skill with the sword for fighting. (Later, though, the sword became harder to hunt with so he switched to bow for a few years. It worked better, but soon he grew tired and left.) Now Gaelic reached the age of one hundred soon enough, and then left the mountains to go out into the world and find a better place. He brought his goats and mount, but the goats died from disease (two of them) and climate change (the last one), but luckily his horse survived. Then he mounted the beast, and set out, searching for better land. Eventually, he came to the border of Althanas. Gaelic was confused at his otherworldly place, so he entered.

Skills: Gaelic, because of training with a sword when he was young, provides him with above-average swordsmanship, but not a master of the skill. Gaelic has a below average skill with bows and throwing knives because of his training in the mountains. Gaelic knows no magic, and is not inclined to learn any, but Gaelic also has about a .5x speed skill because of his racial trait as an elf.

Equipment: Gaelic does support a long scimitar that has a curved edge perfect for perking around large, heavy shields. The scimitar does not deal much damage, but it quick. Gaelic, also on his belt, has a pack of about six throwing knives, which have the ability to retract back to its user, and the cost of being vulnerable as it returns, leaving its user exposed. Finally, he has a long bow with a quiver of twenty arrows made of willow with steel tips, and the longbow, made of willow, is good at sniping for long-distances, but its arrows aren’t the best in the precision department. The knives are made of cast iron, and the scimitar of heavy steel.

Familiars: Gaelic has a little pony that travels around with him. With her gentle nature, it does not usually attack, but if provoked, may start to, but not that tough. The hide is easy to break through, but the pony, Isabelle, is usually resistant to disease-based blows.

Okay, just a few things:

Equipment - thirty throwing knives is just way too many. I'm going to cut it down to six and of course he can get more later if he wants them. The arrows are also limited to twenty in the quiver, make sure you keep track of them and they may be made of willow as well with steel tips.

Skills - just as a side note, you don't need to call things bonuses. >.> It makes it sound like we're playing D&D or something. You cannot be a master of swordsmanship, we do not allow level zero characters such a skill. You have have Above Average in swordplay, but Below Average in Archery. You should list a Below Average proficiency for his throwing daggers as well.

Make those changes and I'll look at it again.
