This is pretty optional. I'll solo the idea if nobody has the motivation or desire to participate.

First off, I have permission to pursue this, so don't be a pooper.

Luc's going to try to accomplish his long-time goal of owning Eluriand. He had no knowledge of Xem'zûnd beyond what Raiaeran history books provide, but this happens to be an opportune time for him to try his luck against the forces of Velice Arta.

Obviously, he's not going to barge in with fire blazing. This is something he's planned for. He doesn't know every ward he'll need to deal with, but he knows the tough ones he'll have to disenchant to get where he needs to go.

Basically, I'm making this thread to provide others with the opportunity to try to stop Luc/aid Luc/happen up Luc and give him a teddy bear. If you don't see yourself in this, no big deal.

Let's find you a role.

Luc's doing the tough stuff solo, actually entering Velice Arta and all that. Nobody can really come along for that, since he'll be using all manner of funky abilities to do so.

Now, your copycat guy could be helpful. Could he assimilate someone, like a guard, and go back to his normal Luc-ish form afterward? If so we could easily find some stuff for him to do!

I don't think he can maintain an assimilation for that long, plus it doesn't completely take on the appearance. Being a Homunculus, he's probably able to morph his body to impersonate others, but not very well this early in the game. Maybe long enough to rendezvous at wherever on the inside. Or you could just open some inter-dimensional two-way portal once you're "in". I can probably integrate with whatever idea you have, just remember I am limited as a level 0 character.

Ah, he can't yet open those portals, unfortunately. The quest I was going for that ability fell through, since it was around the time I took a long break. I'll get it, but probably not in time for this quest.

As I said in PM, I'm having a hard time thinking of an idea. Luc could definitely have things his copy to do, I just can't think of them. He'd also want to give 'Luke' things to do that weren't positively vital for his quest, but just helpful.

I'm interested in fighting against you. Since this is a planned attack, I could do a little deceit rather than a "just attack and run" kind of thing.

Well, it's planned only by Luc. He and like, one other person know about it. But you could happen to be in Velice Arta when he makes his presence known, or something.

The only problem is that you're level 0, and Luc will not hesitate to kill a single person in this quest.

Find a reason to be there and you can have a bit of a role :p It's not like he's assaulting it out in the open like a moron, though, so it may take some thought.
