happy to be here, I um was just sorta was browsing for a good rpg website and found this one and wanted to give it a try. I love thinking of these stories in my head and occasionally writing them on paper or microsoft word but never have I written upon one of these sites, so excuse any ignorant questions I may ask in the future. I am very eager to start this though and cannot wait to write my first real posts for battle or quest!

Oh yeah, sorry if im not supposed to start a new thread, im not sure about whats accepted and whats looked down upon yet :D ill catch on I promise!

So umm would it be bad if i just tried to start a quest right off the back, hehe i used to be a DM =D but i like being a player much more.. or should i do a battle first?

Well if you really are experienced with co-writing you can do a battle but i recomend a quest first, just to get used to cooperation, your character, AND to define him too. usually characters turn out different from how you originally created it to be like. besides doing a battle first would be (I think) to abrupt for your character's introduction to Althanas.
