Looking for some nice claws.

[Claudia]

Claudia was a bit unsure of herself as she entered the Bazaar. She needed some good claws, but the last two places she was at refused to help her because she was a Succubus, AKA, a monster. This shop was rather small and in the middle of nowhere, but it looked friendly enough. Claudia looked around for a few seconds. It would be just her luck if she had stumbled into a shop that no longer was run by anyone. the floors certainly seemed dusty enough to indicate noone was there. If anyone was around, they were in the small backroom, because noone appeared to be behind the counter.

"Anyone there?" Claudia called out.

[Moonlit Raven]

On the counter sat a small cat with fur a curious shade of greyish blue, bright gold eyes inquisitively watched the woman from her perch on top of the counter. With a soft murp she hopped down and with tail held high sauntered towards the back room.

A moment later a petite woman walked out, she stopped in the door way of the back room for a moment looking at her customer. She leaned back and looked back into the back room. A long look, a arched brow later and a shrugged shoulder she walked out to greet the woman.

"Good day, I am Elena, what can I help you with today? i hope you'll excuse the state the shop is in. It's not often that any of the shop keepers of the Bazaar leave the Bazaar for the other shops so they tend to become very dusty."

[Claudia]

Claudia nodded. "That is fine. I really don't mind the dust. The customer service of a few of the other shops was dissapointing, to say the least. Compared to that, this dust is nothing."

"In any case," Claudia said, getting back on subject, "I am looking for a decent set of claw weapons. You got any good ones in stock?"

Sorry for the delay in a reply. I was sucked into a new video game, which is no excuse at all.


Elena smiled inwardly, pleased to met a woman that was focus on accquiring her items instead of talking and wasting time. Waving for the woman to follow she headed for the back room where the crates still waited to be unpacked.

"I'm afriad that unless you are looking for a set of iron claws the wait will be three days to make a set. If you want iron it's 20 gold. I can quote you prices for most of our metals. Currently I we are carrying Steel, Damascus, Delyn, Mythril, and Prevalida." Elena waved at her two naked, winged women, her guardians, as she entered the backroom and headed directly for the crates holding the weapons and ingots. Elena ignored the curious stare from Serraphiel and the disapproving stare from Illaniel. She dug down into one of the large crates, her feet leaving the floor as she leaned her torso further over and into the crate as she shifted things aside and look for the set of iron claws.

"Here we go!" Elena said as she located the cloth wrapped claws by feel. Kicking her feet for leverage, she managed to pull herself back out of the crate and down to the floor with only a single cut to the top of her left hand. Mildly annoyed, Elena licked the blood beading from the cut off and looked at it. After a moment she shrugged and choose to ignore the quick healing wound.

[Claudia]

No problem. I get wrapped up in video games too.

Claudia looked at the iron claws for a bit, then sighed.

"I've already got iron. How much for the Steel and Damascus ones? I really don't mind the wait."

[Moonlit Raven]

Elena nodded and placed the cloth wrapped claws aside on a shelf.

"Steel is 85 and Damuscus is 130. Payment is due when the items are picked up," Elena shifted her weight on her feet, slightly uneasy and annoyed by the fact that the first customer to walk into the newly opened shop was so silent. Vaugely Elena wondered if the presence of her two Moontae guardians had put the woman off a little.

[Claudia]

You aren't the only one who has the game excuse. I got a Wii for my birthday, so I haven't gotten on much.

Claudia was surprised. The prices actually seemed to be pretty cheap compared to what she had imagined.

"So, how much for the others? I originally thought that I would only be able to afford Damascus or steel, but as I'm sure you are aware, it is a dangerous world out there. I personally would like to have the best quality weapon I can afford to protect myself from the outside world." Claudia looked over her shoulder at Elena's two guardians. Were they staring at her or was it just her imagination.

"By the way, I don't think you ever properly introduced me to your friends. would you mind?" Claudia inquired of the shopkeep.

Elena exchanged a glance with the two women before receiving a shrug from Illaniel.

"This is Illaniel and her sister Serraphiel." Elena shook her head slightly and glared at the two for a moment. They know they are supposed to at least have illusions covering their bodies when there are customers. Illaniel blanched at the dark look Elena set them, a second later a hazy cloth appeared covering her body modestly. Serraphiel waved to the woman, before heading for the front door.

"Behave, I'm not covering for you again if there is any trouble." Elena called after her. Turning back to her customer she shrugged slightly as if to say, sorry.

“Oh yes, other metals for the claws. I can make them from Delyn, Mythril and Prevalida. The prices for each are 190, 240 and 780.”

[Claudia]

Claudia smiled at Elena.

"Well, they seem nice enough. I think I'll be going with Mythril claws, by the way." Claudia really had no clue what she was going to do while waiting for the weapons, but it was going to be three days before she returned, unless...

"Would you mind at all If I hung out here while waiting for my weapons?"

Elena returned the smile and nodded.

"It's fine with me if you stay. You talk to Illaniel about the difference in your culture verses ours, excuse me hers. I only married in, so I'm very much an outsider." Elena paused for a moment.

"Sucubus, correct? That's what you feel like anyways."

Three days later

Running a finger over the smooth surface of the newly made claws Elena smiled in pleasure at her newest creation. Light gleamed on the deadly edge she had give the underside of each claw and on the fine, sharp tips. Placing them on the counter, Elena ran a cloth over them to remove the fingerprints she had left on the surface.

"They turned out better than I thought they would."

[Claudia]

Claudia nodded.

"Yeah, I am a succubus, that fact has gotten me into more trouble than anything else, but it's the form the world gave me, so I have to live with it." Claudia replied to the shopkeeper's Query.

After three long days of waiting, in which Claudia did little but eat, sleep, and discuss life with Illaniel, her claws were finally completed.

Claudia put the money on the table plus 60 extra gold for an even 300 gold.

"The extra is for allowing me to stay here. Please accept it." Claudia stated as she picked up the claws and tried them on. They fit like a glove, so to speak.

"If I ever need anything else, can I count on you or at least Illaniel being here?" Shell inquired as she was about to leave.

Elena smiled, more than a little surprised at the request. After a moment she nodded and glanced at Illaniel.

"If you can't find us here look in the main Bazaar in Radasanth. We'll be open to help you."
