Name: Moku
Age: 35
Race: Toy
Hair Color: Slate blue.
Eye Color: Black
Height: 3’
Weight: 15lbs
Occupation: Magician...of sorts.
Personality: Incredibly eccentric with a taste of insatiable curiosity. Moku will, if given the chance, normally do the right thing, or at least do what he thinks is the right thing, in every situation. However his morales are a bit skewed and often his idea of good is far from the general consensus. And…he has size issues.
Appearance: Moku is, by all standards, an odd fellow. As a centerpiece to his outfit, he wears a dark purple -nearly black- cloth that has a very strange design. First, it starts off as a cloak, falling perfectly around his shoulders and nearly reaching the ground on all sides, then on top of that is a mantle which covers his body once more from neck to upper-arms. A hood comes out at his neck, covering his head with enough extra cloth in the front to, at most times, shadow the majority of his face. Two holes are cut out the top so that his gray cloth bunny-ears can stick out. The hood has a long cone-like back end that extends nearly a foot of decreasing width before ending in a black bell. Strangely, the bell is soundless, even when violently shaken. The cone-ish hood is soft so the bell end normally hands around Moku’s lower back. Beneath the cloak, the toy wears a long sleeve purple-and-black horizontally striped cloth shirt. It is very baggy and the ends of the sleeves come over his hands. The outfit is finished off with a pair of black jeans that are cut off and adjusted to be the appropriate size for his legs. Black leather boots are worn underneath them, the jeans left untucked. Though his hands are normally not seen, he wears dark gray leather gloves to hide the fact that he is merely a toy. Moku will go to great lengths to hide his bunny-like face and body from people.
Without the clothing Moku appears to be nothing more than a dark gray cloth stuffed anthropomorphic bunny. He has three fingers and a thumb on each hand, and three toes. Long bunny ears, and very animated eyes adorn his head. Despite not actually having a mouth that opens, he talks normally as if he did.
Strengths/Weaknesses:
There are a lot of obvious weaknesses to weighing fifteen pounds and being made out of cloth. Just think about it.
Moku does have a strength, however. He doesn’t have blood, or organs, or any of the such. He can be easily disabled by pieces of him ripped or sheared off, but he can always be sewn back together as long as he isn’t incinerated. Somehow, by strange magic, if he is sewn together again after an injury, the stitches and new seam(s) will, over time, disappear and his form will return to new condition. Also, he has no need for breathing, food, or drink. Since he has no organs, he cannot be poisoned.
Yet, of course, his greatest weakness of all is fire. His body catches fire very easily and will, if caught fire, probably completely disintegrate. Due to his malady, his essence will remain attached to the ashes and there is possibly a way to restore him if enough ashes are collected and used in some manner to create a new body.
History: (Much abridged) Moku was originally the creation and assistant of a quite deranged wizard who owned an enchanted toy store. The man would kidnap children and take their essences to infuse into dolls and toys. Moku was one of his early creations, therefore less stable, and upon creation the wizard accidentally infused a tiny fragment of his own essence into the toy. Thus, he found he was able to cast minor magics and have a tiny bit of control over mana. Over time he cultivated that fraction and it became his own, and his magic grew. Finally, one day, Moku and the rest of the toys had quite enough of the old man’s deranged antics and staged a coup. Despite the deaths of many good toys, they eventually overthrew his enchantments and escaped. Moku has been on the run ever since, hoping that the foolish wizard doesn’t care enough to give chase.
Magic Trade: Moku, currently, can do things that he consider grand, despite the fact that any real sorcerer or wizard would point them out as mere mana parlor tricks. Everything from making a coin disappear and re-appear somewhere within his garments, to manifesting flowers and changing the color of an item. Nothing combat oriented, and nothing dreadfully useful in any realistic situation. However, he does have access to some strangely out of place higher grade magic. (Listed Below is the higher-grade only. The parlor tricks barely count)
Hierogram: Water; Moku can weave a magic controlling circle in the air with mana and use it to control the elemental facets of water. At his current level the control is very minimal, involving possibly slowing the flow of a very small spring, changing water temperature slowly and minutely, or melting ice. He cannot generate water.
If Moku takes the time and energy to create two miniature Water Hierograms on each of his boots, he will be able to walk on water for up to an hour. He won’t, however, be able to run on water, for causing too much disturbance in the water will not be able to be controlled enough to stay afloat.
