Name: Dino Asakura
Age: 17
Race: Nephilim
Hair Color: White and Purple
Eye Color: Grey
Height: 5'6
Weight: 158
Personality: Dino is a very open minded and trust worthy individual, showing compassion for those he has only just met, and often times going out of his way to help them. One might argue that he is a bit on the gullible side, but Dino is more then intelligent enough to see through deceit, and does not blindly march into any unsavory situations.
Dino has a natural attraction to just about anything interesting that he could study, as researching is his hobby. He has had an unquenchable thirst for knowledge ever since he was a child, and wants to learn everything about the world he can, even if it seems utterly useless at the time. Because of this, Dino keeps with him a notebook where he writes down information, such as special characteristics of planets and animals, and other information.
Dino believes in a very strict honor system, and while usually a kind and caring soul even in the heat of battle, Dino will let his rage take over and become a vicious beast while fighting. Normally though, Dino is very passive, and will not try to kill his opponents while fighting, though he does not feel guilty if they were to die, he shows some slight remorse.
Appearance: A little on the short side making him seem smaller then he truly is, Dino is quite muscular his arms and legs especially well toned, though not the point where he resembles the proverbial beefcake. He has long radiant white hair reaching down to his back, making it about three feet or so in length. The last half foot, give or take a few inches, is a equally majestic shade of purple, which runs up each side and the back of his hair in six pointed lines. He has dark skin, with fair facial features, causing most to believe he is much younger then his actual age, which is only increased by his deep translucent purple eyes. When in combat, Dino will usually wear his hair pulled back in a tail, though he will not bother if he does not expect to put to much time into the fight.
Due to his constant traveling, Dino is usually seen wearing a large worn out mantle that hides his entire form. The inside of the garment is lined with thin metal plating, making it much heavier, but a reliable defense from ranged and smaller weapons. Underneath, Dino wears large tan pants, and a brown leather vest. Around his waist are four small pouches, one on each side, and two at his back.
History: Raised as an orphan, Dino never met his parents, but knew that his father was a Nephilim, a race that must breed with another to procreate. Because of this, their children cannot truly be considered half Nephilim, as the only full-blooded Nephilim were in fact a product of the bond between two races. The priest at the temple were he lived seem to know much about Nephilim, as his half sister also seemed to be one herself, though she had passed long ago due to illness. Dino stayed at the temple until he was about seven, running off into the wilderness to explore and effectively getting lost in the process.
After a couple months living on his own in the wilderness, Dino was picked up by a group of thieves who took him in, after he proved capable of stealing a few valuables form their most recent job planning to sell the merchandise for a meal or two. He stayed traveled with the group of thieves for a few years until finally leaving a week after his eleventh birthday.
Traveling on his own from that point on until he met a struggling alchemist. Exchanging his services for a place to stay and a full library to study, Dino learned all his knowledge about alchemy in those four months before his teacher was killed during one of his experiments. Dino continued to stay in the alchemist’s home for another couple of months, using the time to make minor salves and tonics to raise money before hitting the road once again.
Now twelve years old and yet to find any thing to catch his interest, Dino decided to try to search for his father. He took this time searching, to do some studying of the wildlife, so he had learned a bit about both plants and animals during is journey. After searching for years, it seemed that his father did not want to be found, but in his place, he acquired the Anima Amplimento, as well as his familiars, who seem to know a lot about him.
From that point on, he gave up looking for his father, and decided to try to find something to do with the possibly very long life he had ahead of him.
Weaknesses:
Nephilim’s Curse: Dino is massively affected by both divine and demonic powers. This stems from the origins of the Nephilim race, so it is a very hard draw back to over come.
High metabolism: Due to his unique body structure, Dino has a exceedingly high metabolism, and needs to eat multiple times a day, either a handful of meals, or constant snacking. In dire circumstances, he will use his alchemic abilities to fight this off, but he prefers not as it drains him even faster after the effects ware off.
Hypo Essenza- The draw back to this ability he naturally controls is that Dino is easily possessed by spirits. Though a total possession is probably impossible due to the ability itself, spirits can enter his body with unimaginable ease, weaker ones being like voices in his head capable of leaving at any time, while stronger spirits may even control portions of his body will possessed.
Skills:
Racial:
Increased agility- x1.5 that of the average human at this point
Increased speed- x1.5 that of the average human at this point
Animal linguistics- Natural in all Nephilim
Immortal- At some point he will stop aging, speculated at around the age of thirty, but he cannot be sure, as this is not always consistent with in the race.
Abilities:
Massimo Spirito Corrente (Maximum Spirit Current)- An ability that he has learned was passed down through his fathers family line. The inner workings of the ability are said to be where the Hypo Essenza originally branched from, and while any person is capable of learning the Hypo Essenza, the Massimo Spirito Corrente requires more then just knowledge to pull off. By directing the flow of Dino's soul into an object, (Anima Amplimento) he is able to give literally use his own will and soul as a weapon. At his current level, the ability is very taxing on Dino, both physically and spiritually.
Hypo Essenza - Ability that allows the user to move a part of their soul into an object. The target object will be empowered with the target persons will, allowing any none physical abilities to carry over to the object if they so wish. At the moment, Dino is only capable of performing a complete fusion for a short amount of time (two posts) though a partial fusion can be held as long as he is still capable of fighting.
Bio Alchimia - Though his alchemy is not of the greatest caliber, he tends to focus all his skills in the art on the bodies of living organisms, mainly his own. In theory, one would be capable of manipulating their body, and possibly even another’s to perform a wide range of tasks, but at this point Dino is only capable of simple increases or alterations to his bodily functions and even less in plant life, so nothing to complex at the moment.
Equipment:
Mantle: A cloak that hides a layer of light steel armor on the inside, enough to protect the wearer from arrows or daggers and other strikes, but slows down Dino to about the same speed as an average human.
Anima Ampliamento (Soul Extension) - In its dormant form a set of seven crystal orbs that can only be activated through the use of Dino’s Massimo Spirito Corrente. As of now, Dino is only capable of using one of the orbs. Each one holds a different power and is as the name suggests, and extension of Dino’s true soul which only he can use. The power of the weapon is based on Dino’s own spiritual power, so when weakened, so would his weapons abilities.
(Ceruleo Orchestra) Cerulean Orchestra: Forms a long leather whip which is capable of creating small sonic booms, though not powerful enough to hold any force on their own, they add more propelling force when the whip makes contact. The cerulean crystal is embedded in the handle.
(Porpora Massacro) Crimson Massacre: locked
