Personality: If it were not for the ring that his father gave him, Josiah would have long ago lost himself in the lies and the new faces. The interloper does not often tell the truth, and will do what must be done to keep his identity a secret, even if it ends with bloodshed. He is devoted to the Coronian government, not unlike most agents, he will not take his life to keep his activites secret, considering his agenda.
Appearance: Consistently changes, so no description is truly accurate. Josiah has a well toned and athletic body that is quite capable during battles, a handsome face, and a warm, disarming smile that often wins trust. Always wears sophisticated and charming clothing.

Josiah
After losing his family to a treacherous nobleman's slauughter, at the prophecy of a false oracle, Josiah Vent looked forward to seeing him come to justice. However, the noble used his numerous connections in the military and council to see that the slaughter was covered up. Vanishing from site, Josiah Vent vanished for five years, plotting and training, and eventually, re-emerged as a vastly different person, and was drafted for his skills into the secretive Coronian faction, "Step".
Josiah has obeyed Step for the past three years without a single word of complaint, intent on pulling the veil from the nobleman's dark deeds to the world, and killing him by his own hand.
Currently, in between assignements.
Step
The name comes into reference to stepping in and interloping, of course. Established by the Coronians directly after the Demon War, agents of Step were inserted into the world's governments so that in the face of another disaster or war of tremendous magnitude, the people of Corone would be prepared. The agents of Step are numerous, and of nearly every race on Althanas. They are devoted to their people, and will commit suicide to take any information they were carrying to the grave. A second function of Step is to influence events to Corone's favor. The head and leader of Step is unclear, and no Agent ever receives his directives directly or from the same person.

Urumi - Josiah has an average proficiency in the use of the urumi.
Close Quarters Combat - Josiah has an average ability to defend himself in close combat, either with his hands or a blade.
Thrown Weapon - Josiah has an average ability in throwing weapons.
Diplomat's Tongue - Josiah is good at lying and telling people what they want to hear, though he can't fool everyone.
Equipment: Aside from his usual suits, Josiah has a form fitting linen black body suit and face mask that he wears on missions requiring stealth and theft. On his forearms, he wears a pair of plain iron vambraces, but attached to them are three thin, flexible steel blades, four foot long each. The blades are wrapped up and down his forearms, hidden under bandages thhat can be sliced away easily withg the right movement. These blades are called the Urumi, or in common, "Thunder". The black and gold fountain pen he carries with him also doubles as a weapon, by twisting just above the middle, the top can be pulled away to reveal a sharp iron knife.
