Personality: Celsius, at first glance, appears to be someone very cold because of the way he moves. This is only because he’s a very cautious person, but in reality, he’s actually very friendly and outgoing. He can’t resist meeting new people, and even constantly hits on girls whom he would find attractive. He’s doesn’t hesitate to speak what he has in mind, and doesn’t really care about what other people think.
But just like every other person, he has two sides to his personality. The other side of him is much more serious and can be triggered by events that remind him of his past. He can be quiet and say things that seem to be difficult to understand, and he can be much more tactless. Sometimes, he becomes downright cold and doesn’t care about those around him, even though they’d get hurt in the process.
Appearance: Celsius Abel has auburn hair that never seems to be combed properly. His eyes are dark red, and his skin is darkly tanned. His body is fit, although he’s always slacking in posture because of how lazy he can be sometimes. He wears a dark brown shirt and black pants, with boots on his feet. Thick leather gloves cover his hands. All over his body are scars that show what a rough childhood he had.
History: Celsius Abel was a demon raised by two human parents, and since he was a child, he had already known his true race. There was always an spiritual entity following him around whom he could speak to, and even though his parents kept telling him to stop talking to himself, he just ignored them. This so-called spiritual entity was named Ahren, and it was like having an invisible friend to talk to. Ever since, he could recall talking to this spiritual entity, without ever seeing it.
Even though his two human parents adopted him, they were nothing but rough on him. The father was a drunkard who would beat him up, but Celsius never flinched even though he would have wounds all over his body. His wounds would heal faster than humans, which made his father even more furious and beat him up harder. But not even once did Celsius even think of running away, since he didn’t seem bothered by how he was abused at all. Besides, Ahren always told him that life was better this way.
As he grew into a teen, there were times where he wouldn’t be able to speak to Ahren anymore. Hours would past until Ahren would talk to him, and the spiritual entity never answered Celsius when he asked why he disappeared. Celsius became upset because of this, since Ahren was the only thing he really counted as a friend. As he was growing older, his mother became ill and his father would beat him up more because of frustration. Finally, his mom died, and the father didn’t want anything to do with him anymore. He threw Celsius out of his home, and this seemed to ignite something in Celsius. He asked Ahren for help, but the spiritual entity didn’t respond. His father had come charging towards him, and he, frustrated, suddenly summoned a firewall to keep his father at bay.
His father had called him a monster, and this even upset him more. Ever since he was kid, he was already able to start fires when he wanted, much to his parent’s shock. Right after his father called him a monster, he burned his own father alive. He was so shocked with what he had done, and buried his dad in the forest. Ahren still wasn’t answering. He stayed in the forest for days, not knowing what to do. After a while, he heard Ahren’s voice again, saying “Why did you do that? You knew it was wrong.”
Celsius couldn’t understand why the humans even kept him through all those years, even though they hated him. He wanted to run away ever since, but Ahren wouldn’t let him. Finally, Ahren said, “They were scared of you, simple, and you had to take advantage of being able to have a home to live in.”
Celsius knew he was right, though he wouldn’t admit it. He still has nightmares of hearing his father begging him to put the fire out, and for some reason, he sees the reason to make up for his sin. He also wants to know where he came from, and who Ahren is.
Skills: Firewall – Emit a wall of fire that stretches six feet wide, and three feet high. It’s not very strong yet, but can prove useful in keeping enemies at bay and at times when he is ambushed. Can be used two times a thread.
Explosives – Summon spheres of fire in his hands and be able to throw at towards a target, and the moment they touch the target, they will explode into shards of what seems to be burning rocks. Not yet that strong, but will be able to give an opponent slight burns. Can be used three times a thread.
Burning Weapon – Can cast a spell towards his weapon to make it really hot to be able to burn what it touches, without damaging the weapon itself. Can be used two times a thread.
Equipment: Hand Axe – made of steel, a bit heavy but efficient.
Dagger – Iron, useful for quicker combat and things like picking a lock.
Familiars: Ahren – Still just an spiritual entity with a voice that only Celsius can hear. Not really that useful as of now.
