Making his way from Underwood to the Bazaar, Dyne had some equipment to sell. As a Patriarch of the House of Sora, the man prepared himself for his first financial venture. It was an ordinary day in Corone post Civil War. There were refugees on the streets out begging for a loose coin of gold. Dyne knew of a local shop in the Bazaar that had influence in Underwood. He went there first since he was a citizen of Underwood. The man found it difficult to ignore the cries of help along the way, so he focused on the mission at hand. He needed to unload the gear he'd made in his trade studies. Once that was underway, he could proceed with the next part of his plan.
Finding the shoppe after asking for some directions along the way, the afternoon sun shone brightly overhead. The youth kept a confident rythym in his step. Many eyes studied the markings of the House of Sora upon his Vlince cloak, recognizing the symbols. He felt the eyes on him, he liked it. After all he was the son of an Aristocrat. The businessmen in the Bazaar would welcome the son of a noble, for he had gold to spend. But first, he needed to unload his inventory. He took a deep breath and entered the shop calmly. He saw the various weapons and pieces of equipment, admiring the quality of each. The smiths in this area had achieved a level of skill that the man could only hope to achieve in his lifetime. After he was done browsing he walked over to the counter with a confident look on his face. He kept a friendly smile upon his lips.

With an annoyed frown marring her features, Elena scraped at a small amount of dried blood she had just discovered in a seam of the leather armor she wore. The chiming of the bell over the door broke the silence of the shop. Thankful for the respite from boredom in an unusually slow day Elena looked up.
Realizing that she was staring a moment later, Elena found herself something to do until the customer approached the front counter. Her hands found busy work in un-wrapping the handle of her hilt and cleaning the dirt and bits of black substance she refused to identify that had found its way past the rough cord. Only once did she allow herself to glance up at the customer. It’s not every day I see a grown male a scant inch taller than myself. I wonder if he’s fully human. Elena found herself humming as she polished the handle and re-wrapped it with new cording.
“Good day, I am Elena. What can I help you with?” Elena greeted as the man finally approached the counter.

Dyne smiled to the girl at the counter, she had incredible good looks. He could appreciate her subtle beauty and let his smile grow that much brighter. He was here to get business complete though, so the smith went straight to it. He unloaded his bundled package of swords and daggers, recently constructed here (http://www.althanas.com/world/showthread.php?t=6803&page=2).
The bundle was somewhat heavy, polished off with a thick cloth wrapping and some hemp rope. Dyne untied the rope and placed the well constructed swords and daggers on the table.
"This is my first time doing this you see. I'm a blacksmith apprentice. I just built these back at the shop over at Underwood. They are common to average quality at best. They are three swords and two daggers. The swords are of broad sword types. How much gold can I get for these m'am?" He asked politely keeping the request short and sweet. He wanted to take care of the transaction so he could be back at the Sleepy Willow. Times were tough and people needed to arm themselves with quality weapons. "If the business is good here, there will be more weapons from me where that came from. I know people need to arm themselves these days. I also accept custom orders." Dyne said. He waited for her reply.

Elena recognized the brightening of the man's smile and inwardly sighed. Why is it if you display curiosity about a male they think you are interested? Elena cut off the despairing thought at it's root before she could appear inattentive and rude.
As the bundle was opened Elena studied the swords and daggers. She could feel her eyebrows rise for a second as she took in the bright hues of the copper blades. Glancing up at the gentleman for a moment she carefully picked up one of the broadswords and rounded the counter so she would have more room. Checking the broadsword for flaws and balance she nodded approvingly before laying it back on the cloth and reaching for the other broad sword.
"You have done very well in making these, but copper is a weak metal and not worth much I'm afraid. Still I can give you 3 gold for each of the daggers and 60 gold for the broadswords." Elena wondered if this confidant man would try to barter with her. Just in case he did she fixed a cap of prices in her mind.

Dyne considered the investments for a moment. The entire matter would turn out a decent profit for the smith. He crossed his arms before his chest in deep thought. A full five minutes went by before he thought of his answer. He would let her offer stand this time. Next time, he would attempt to barter with the woman. But for now, I'm just happy to be getting such a decent deal.
"May I get five gold for the daggers? I am happy with the price cap for the swords I understand the level of quality adjusts its rate." Dyne said, having a little knowledge of the open market being the son of an Aristocrat and all. Dyne adjusted his stance for a moment and then relaxed once more waiting for her response, it was okay if she didn't accept his offer this time.

Elena arched a brow at the young man before she gave the daggers a once over again. After a long moment she nodded.
"Five gold a piece for the daggers is acceptable, sir. Just a moment please." Elena said as she gave the gentleman a pleasant smiled and headed for the locked box in the back room. It took only moments for Elena to retrieve the payment for the weapons and return to the front counter bearing the modest size purse of gold.
"Here we are. Have a good afternoon, I look forward to seeing more of your work in the future."

((I think we're done here lol thank you))
"As soon as I have more completed pieces I'll bring them to your shoppe. It was a constructive endeavor. Thank you for your time m'am."
Dyne gave a courteous bow to Elena and smiled brightly towards her. With a swish of his cloak, the short but well built apprentice blacksmith made his way out of the shop to return back home to Underwood. He made sure to take his gold with him. He wore a smile this day after his first successful foray into becoming a Merchant. He walked with his chin a little bit higher as he went home from the Bazaar region.

Elena waved politely and watched the man walk away. Pursing her lips, she wondered about his height and attitude. Perhaps some troll in him. Na, trolls are too big, maybe it's gnome. Yeah, that seems to fit the ticket.
