How can a person grow up with all this around them?
Where does it come from? All this hatred.
So I still think my calendar idea is an important one.

"Turning and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity."

Considering that just adding history any time it's convenient will simply not work, maybe we should give this a bit of thought. Good job bringing that up, Cy!

Well, given that all the continents have their own dating systems and religions, we couldn't establish an Althanas-wide calendar. It would not making any sense ICly. We could do it on a continent-by-continent basis, though... If there's any kind of desire for that, it's something I'll get to work on for Salvar.Originally Posted by Cyrus the virus

It's something we'd all have to get together and discuss. I just don't see us adding any new history without completely guessing how much time has passed since the last event.

Oooh, you mean more of a way for translating OOC time into IC time?
That could be a good idea. But liquid time screws with things, as ever.

I think liquid time is just a plot mechanic and doesn't really affect the actual Time/Space continuum.
I think that if somebody got together and did a calender for each of their respective continents it would be pretty dope. I like the idea of a Calendar also, if you know the Timeline you can just wing certain things like dates and things.
By the by Zieg thanks for the credit it was awesome working with you man I look forward to working with you in the future again sometime.
A universal Althanas calender could make sense for a later date, like maybe something outta Corone where everybody lives together and maybe it just hasn't caught on with the rest of the races yet.
