Just as the necromancer would finish having his way with the withered Amari he was startled by the sudden sound of a flock. Dusk ravens perched themselves overhead on the treetop branches, calling out to each other over the scene, their blood red eyes piercing the necromancer's soul.

The necromancer grinned, dusk ravens were an omen of death, so he assumed they were here to witness the death of Amari. The necromancer turned his attention back to Amari for a split second before a faint chanting could be heard in the distance behind him.

“And in the waking hour, the essence of the living will come to realisation. For he had stooped his soul into darkness, descended, and felled. Beseech thy superior and beg forgiveness, for thy form is of mortal, flesh and, blood. From the dawn you are lit into life, and to the dusk you shall fade” Lucifer had arrived, his arms outstretched, preaching, eyes of bleeding crimson disparaging the frail necromancer. “ This is your eulogy, necromancer.

Lucifer had been tracking this pitiful soul for a few days now, curious as to his obsessive prattling and movement. Lucifer's eyes fell onto Amari, her spirit dwindling. “You’re one of those monsters. Taking life that does not belong to you” Lucifer tilted his head as he walked towards him.

The necromancer turned to face him grinning, amused that another Ar’tuel would simply hand himself over. “Have you come to die with your friend here Ar’tuel? None of your kind fight, you must be suicidal. No matter, I’ll be quick so wait your turn”

The necromancer turned his back on Lucifer to finish what he started but the moment he reached out to Amari, his knees buckled and he fell to the ground. “Do you insult me necromancer?” The Earth began to decay as Lucifer’s will was imposed instilling a petrifying fear into the heart of the necromancer. “I don’t have to fight.” He smirked as he placed his thumb over the forehead of the kneeling necromancer. “Perish.” It was at that moment, the ravens called as the necromancer screamed in immeasurable pain, blood rushing to his face.

Lucifer lifted his thumb off the necromancer for the moment, letting him catch his breath. “I’m not going to end it that quick. No. You’re going to suffer as you have made my kin.” He pressed his thumb back onto the necromancers forehead, as another cry of agony burst from the man’s throat. Lucifer let this go on for nearly half an hour before the necromancers brain finally turned into mush, and collapsed to the floor. “Rot.” He spat as the necromancer laid lifeless on the ground.

Lucifer turned his attention back to Amari as his aura returned to its natural state, he wasn’t sure what to do since he had been corrupted, he wasn’t able to heal her. He knelt down in front of her and gently stroked her cheek. “Amari… do you see now as I?” She didn’t respond. Her eyes were downcast, the light in them still flickering. *He held her close to his chest and closed his eyes focusing on emitting some his energy, hoping she’d latch on or absorb part of it, anything.

    ...Nothing.

She remained unmoving. Unresponsive. He was corrupt. In any case, he couldn’t leave her as she was. He picked her up, cradling her in his arms. “Okay, then. As much as I dislike this. You need a physical body” He murmured, staring over her faint and frail form.

Lucifer headed into the nearest town, scouring the market district which was packed with people, making sure not to be seen. “Yes, you’ll do” He said as he noticed a recently pregnant woman shopping for fruit.

He shadowed her, following her to her home and waited for nightfall, considering it wasn’t too long until she’d pass out. Lucifer kissed Amari’s forehead as he stood leaning over the woman’s resting body. “Goodluck Amari, I wish you safety” he whispered as he gently lowered her spirit into body of the pregnant woman, allowing her spirit to latch onto growing child and merge with it.
