Empathy for the Stars - Alerar, 72.5
Hearing rumors of a strange phenomenon named the Cortege, Lillian heads to the village of Drada Kestal, deep in the Fields of Khu’Fein. Villagers on the verge of death are said to find themselves invigorated with new life on their final night, regaining lost mobility and even lucidity. They spend what time they have celebrating with their loved ones, until they leave their homes for reasons unexplained. And so does the village follow these men and women as they walk through the valleys and into an endless field beneath the stars, where they are spirited away. However, upon arriving, she hears news of a tragic fire in the house of Old Barras, but no remains were found. Thus, the girl begins to wonder if there could be a darker plot behind this fabled Cortege.
Horrors in Timbrethinil - Raiaera, 70
After fleeing from the Obsidian Tower, Lillian wandered Raiaera in search of a way out. Alas, every caravan to Alerar she had been on was ambushed by hordes of undead, and she could never even get close to Anebrilith, where she had planned to clandestinely escape on one of the few remaining boats. Her hopeless ambling eventually brought her to the Forest of Timbrethinil, where a necromantic legion led by Valainistima Lithôniel, a reanimated High Bard, had withdrawn. There, in the hub of the forest’s corruption, they recovered their forces day by day, unaware that Lillian had found refuge in a hidden, hillside cavern. There, the girl bides her time, doing her best not to lose her mind in the oppressing solitude… until two unexpected allies wander into the fray.
Piano Sonato no. 3 in G Minor, Op.36 "Infernale" - Other Regions, Ongoing
Lillian travels to the continent of Kebiras, specifically the rundown city of Cardamona in the countryside of Auvernon. In these ruins where its few remaining residents spend their lives in opium tents, she hears of a strange music that plays at night, in the graveyard. When she investigates, she makes the acquaintance of a young basket-weaver named Eveline and of her pianist brother, Adam. Having discovered the musician of the cemetery, she is then faced with darker mysteries, that of the man who comes to see them every month, and of the mysterious sonata that brings death to those who hear it, and worse to those who dare play it.
The Rot of Koschei - Salvar, Ongoing
In which Lillian corresponds with Andreï Kasparov, an aquatic wildlife biologist, on the evolution of the species that populate the coasts of Vogtsok. That is, until the day his letters stopped coming altogether: fearing an experiment gone haywire, Lillian sets out for the Salvaran island, where she discovers that almost all its inhabitants have vanished. Those that remain seem to hide their knowledge of the catastrophic event that caused Salvar’s naval forces to destroy the bridges leading to the city, and her only clue lies in the words of Andreï’s final letter.
A Study in Black - Alerar, 79
After having been asked by the leader of the Peregrine Group to find every s, every exploitable ressource available in the Salvar, Lillian sets out for Ankhas, the library of Ettermire. After a most unpleasant meeting with one Helviana Erelisstra, an insufferable prick of a reference librarian, she becomes involved in the unleashing of creatures that have slept undisturbed in the shadows for eons past. Going face to face with creatures that feed on fear and devour light, Lillian is forced to team up with a most unlikely ally.
