Activity is a little low so I thought I would bring in some new games. These were all found on other forum based websites.

This one is called Word Dissatisfaction.
Rules; write a word that you hate. Give a reason if you can why you hate it.

To start:-

Fondle.
That word genuine makes me shiver. The obsessive associations with it and the sound is weird.

Indescribable
I get it, but aren't you describing it when you say it's indescribable?

Diplomacy.

I could never pronounce it right, even slowly. Somehow, somewhere, I always end up adding an "n" before the "m" and turning it into "diplomancy."

No, no, no! It's not a new field of magic! It's not supposed to be! There is no such thing as magic about diplos! I mean, what the hell is a diplos?

Suffrage - an important moment in woman's history but damn is it hard to forget there's no 'e' in there.

This is probably a weird one, but "belated." It sounds gross, sounds too much like "bloated" :P

I find my wife and pretty much every adult female I know suddenly treats "Moist" as a four letter word. I don't understand it, so I happily use it as liberally as possible.

Gray... I always spell it grey I don't know why but it annoys me to see that I spelled it wrong again... oh wait, I just looked it up and I spell it the way they do in England. Probably because my favorite authors are British. Still, why don't we use the same spelling!?

I find the term 'chick' to be a gross over-simplification of a woman, their function and purpose in life. As though women are for clucking amongst themselves, eating seed and birthing eggs. Its single syllable is snappy and efficient to its credit, but I find it lazy and dismissive of a lady's true potential. Why, there are a plethora of terms you can draw upon to refer to a woman - lady, madam, mistress are a smattering that come swiftly to mind. Are you unable to offer her a term that requires more tongue-effort?

Some men don't understand what the big deal is. It's just a word. Get over it. That's fine, you won't mind at all if I always refer to you as 'cock' henceforth. It won't niggle at the back of your mind after hearing it for the tenth time, the fifty seventh time nor the one hundredth and eleventh time. *trails off into feministic rant*

Oh, and baby chickens are wonderful. Carry on being cute and fluffy, lovely dovelies.

The English language is complicated. I'll be writing "they'res" then realize it's "there's." Ugh. I remember apostrophes by thinking the ' separates the combined words ("it is" "it's".) For some reason "there's" always snags me though.

vestibule - I can never say it right, it always sounds like I'm saying vegetable.
