Pyramid Head: A manifestation imagined in the mind of James Sunderland. An echo of James' past actions, his guilty memories given a form. Pyramid Head is a reflection of James' wish to be punished for his wife's death, a representation of redeeming qualities come too late - guilt, regret, responsibility and self-judgement. Pyramid Head rarely confronts the real villain, Sunderland, righteously building anguish and dread in a man long overdue to be met with justice. Everything Pyramid Head ever did was a figment of imagination and served to punish a man who deserved punishment.
