Yesterday I decided to write a novel, and dusted off one of the half-dozen partial outlines I had laying around. It's going to be a scifi murder mystery, it's going to be about 80k words long, and it's going to be submitted to major publishers before the end of January 2020.

I plan to write 2-5k words per day for the next two months/until I finish the first draft, and then edit and rewrite for a month or so, and then submit. This morning I've written 1.5k words of character development and lore, and I'm sure I'll do more later on.

Several members of Althanas have already agreed to read along as I write and help me workshop it, which should make editing easier and the whole process more enjoyable. If you'd like to join our writer workshop, please let me know. The focus will be on my project (at least at first) however if you have a WIP you're more than welcome to share it with the group to benefit from our feedback.

We'll be meeting in a special chatroom in my discord server, contact me for the invite if you're not already there. Also it will be necessary that you have a gmail account/the ability to use google docs.

Best of luck my friend!!! I have been working on getting novels finished forever. :) I am sure you will do amazingly.

Keep up with your word count is my advice. I am terrible at finding brand new ideas and concentrating on them.

If you want any advice, I would love to read it but sounds like you have a great community nevertheless.

:)
