question on formatting for the rog mods

hey dudes,

i was just working on a level update and i like to format with tables because i'm a tables kinda guy. but i checked on my phone they're not mobile friendly at all. so, my question is: do you guys review profiles on your phones/tablets or desktop? is more traditional formatting easier on you guys for reviewing?

From what I recall from my limited understanding of coding Tables/etc are allowed. I think like the main point is when you do any kind of change to a profile the general consensus from my knowledge is you can at least do stuff like updates in bold Coloring different updates makes things a bit easier for certain mods/etc to see and what not. But my understanding at least bold is okay. But yeah someone can add information as needed.

I'm not an RoG mod but working from both my phone and my laptop, PC is a whole lot friendlier for formatting I'll tell you that for free. Not having to swap keyboard screens to do this: !@$&)_^#_*%!^@#(*&%*_# is also amazing.

That being said, for viewing stuff I haven't really noticed that posts look any different with tables between phone or pc. The mobile version isnt so bad. just phones are crappy tools to type a lot.

Tables are fine, or at least have always been fine with me. I use a combination of desktop and phone and never had issues with either, as far as I am aware.

I've seen people, Amari being a solid example, use graphs in the past. And fancy fonts and tiny icons!

looking back at them on my phone is what made me ask the question--to see the stupid tables you kinda have to scroll sideways

Much, much better this week pal. Last week was an absolute shitshow and we're not out of the woods yet, but we're far better placed to actually live now. Thanks man. Hope you and yours are well too.

yeah it's just tables and horizontal lines really.

i think tony/dirks has installed a table hack to make using them easier. idk if it's default vbulletin stuff or not, i think it's a hack. anyway you just click the table button (under the bold button). it then lets you pick the options you want easily. when dinosaurs roamed the earth tables was how all fancy web design was done.

some other fun formatting stuff is the sub and sup buttons. sub is below the line, sup is above it. subsub and supsup.

The columns of text on mobile are a little obnoxious and makes reading anything on here kind of challenging, but your profile in general is amazing. I love the time you took in customizing it. I'm inspired to put a bit more work into mine when I level up! On PC, it looks incredible, and your abilities are super easy to pick out which must be really handy when people RP with you! So good!
